Well Silsbee might have an opening at QB next year if Jenkins wants to transfer. He'd have one of the best wide receivers in the state to toss the ball to, and be on a team that should be able to make a decent playoff run.

Wow. To think I thought WB had a chance to compete for a playoff spot this year. I probably shouldn't admit that. They were somewhat competitive in the game against Manvel. Looked like they had a pretty good running back. Didn't let their QB do much besides dinky little 2 yard passes to the sidelines though. Looks like they're getting worse. Summer Creek ain't THAT good.

and China Spring moved up to D1, making Carthage's path that more easier. Maybe Gilmer or Pleasant Groove can put up a fight this year.

I believe Denton Guyer is a lock for D2, so we should still get a good game at state regardless. 4AD2 is loaded this year. I remember not so long ago, things didn't even get hard till the 4th round of the playoffs.

Like to see Silsbee get a good thunder and lightning combo going with Williams and Baltrip in the backfield. Gonna have to make teams pay when they double team Miller.

No way should Silsbee forget what happened last year. That was the start of the Tigers not playing well for an entire game. I like what little I've seen of Baltrip running the ball.

Lancaster had their chances in the first half and at the start of the third quarter but squandered them. It was all downhill for them after that. They got a garbage time TD to make the score more respectable. Could really see Guyer winning state this year.
