  1. Brisbane to Brisbane lol.
  2. Duncanville has lost Ashton Hardaway to Sierra Canyon. 6A might be a little more open this year if they can't replace him.
  3. I usually just drive down Thomas Rd if I want to see where all the big money is at. And Beaumont would be hell to beat in basketball if there was only one school. Football not so much.
  4. Just seen that shot where the Tigers lost to iSchool of Lewisville at the buzzer in OT. Man that's a tough one. Coach Sig deserves a lot of credit for a team like Silsbee to be able to compete with a school like that.
  5. Wish they'd cut it back to 3 teams. Most of these first round playoff games are a joke. I'd rather go home and miss the playoffs than get beat down by 60+ points.
  6. Harris scored nearly half of Silsbee's points in the Carter game. Last time the teams met, he only played about half the game due to foul trouble. Glad we could get another game with Carter, as this is exactly the type of team the Tigers need to be playing. Dville was missing their best player in the loss to LH, but that Johnson kid is a beast. Are all these kids still gonna be playing for Lake Highlands when the season starts for real is what I'm wondering.
  7. Probably only one or two. Not a lot of spots open. Lots of juniors gonna still be on jv next season. Some of them may end up playing only one year on varsity.
  8. Well thankfully the no freshman on varsity thing didn't pass. I can't imagine Silsbee 2024 b-ball players all being stuck on a freshman squad. They would have been beating teams 150 - 20. No, I'm not exaggerating either. I'm actually being nice with that.
  9. Based on what I seen with my own eyes: Miller, Harris, Elliott, Wardlow, and one or two kids from OF. Miller was even better in the playoffs.
  10. That Faith Family game was a joke. They're losing their big D1 star though. They have a weak year in bringing in players, I think we can take them out next year.
  11. That must be some special neighborhood all them kids grew up together in. Wonder what the secret is.
  12. Realistically all you can do is hope other schools start to pull the talent from FF. Preferably a private and not another 4a. Region is gonna be though with both Yates and BTW also being young. Hopefully we'll get another shot or two at this.
  13. Only one. Only two seniors on the team altogether.
  14. Well it was a good run. Those back to back 3s at the end of the third really hurt. Maybe if we had shot the ball just a little bit better 🤷‍♂️
  15. Could really use one of them magical Tiger 3rd quarters here.
  16. Crazy to think FF was 3A not so long ago. Looks like they're 2 best players graduate this year. Not that it really matters with a team like this. That 6'11 kid is only a freshman. He looked sorta slow and a bit clumsy in the games I seen them play. Maybe if he gets better he'll be worthy of going to Duncanville or Kimball. I think Silsbee takes an L by 15 also. If I'm wrong and they win 2 games this week, I'll be more than happy to be labeled and idiot who knows nothing.
  17. If I remember right BU was kicking Kimball's butts during the first half of the game last year. Keep that intensity for 4 quarters this time around and they'll be done. Better not sleep on Timberview though if they win.
  18. Teams with the two best records are placed on the opposite side of each other. Tigers had the same record as Borne. What's funny is that first game against Dobie Silsbee lost is mainly why this game is happening. A team the Tigers could have smashed if half our players weren't either missing or barely played. It doesn't really matter though. You can't duck someone if your goal is a ring. I don't expect Silsbee to win. Just go out there and give them as much hell as you can.
  19. I watched a McKinney team that isn't much bigger than Silsbee take down FF right before the season started. It can be done. Of course that McKinney team is very good. We just can't forget how to make 3s if we want any kind of chance.
  20. Y`all got me thinking I lost my mind. BTW's big man scored on a layup for the first basket. Went back and watched this on Texan live. Dunk count was 2 - 2. Also noticed there was a lot of jawing between BTW and Silsbee fans for whatever reason.
  21. Pretty sure BTW had two dunks. One towards the end of a quarter and another was on a foul. Kinda surprised at how much one of their bigs (think it was Lewis) liked to hang out at the 3 point line. Harris definitely had the most important dunk of the night though.
  22. 7th Wouldn't be fair if he got two years to play along side Miller and Harris. One year will have to do.
