I think Harris is very Adams like. He's lean and can jump and get to the rim pretty easy. He's currently a sometimes good 3 point shooter as well. You better look out if/when he gets bigger and better. Miller isn't really McCain like at the moment. He's more blue collar and not very flashy. Nothing wrong with that as long as it gets the job done. Also, unlike McCain, football will be taking up a lot of his time. Not sure if that will affect his b-ball game at all or not.

Just going over some Yates games and there are some interesting scores. What happened that first Wheatly game? They missing players? A few others also look off compared to what they usually would be. Still, all that matters is how you're playing right now. Best case scenario is good Silsbee and bad Yates shows up tomorrow.

Yates by 15. I don't think this team is ready for a Yates showdown yet. Our two best players are 14-15 year olds. One thing is for sure, kids have got to stay out of foul trouble. Game could get ugly if they don't. If there's any bright side to look on, Yates won't be the worse thing Silsbee has seen this year having played United twice. Hopefully next season a Silsbee/Yates game in its proper setting in Huntsville will be a real contest.

Dunk count was 1 - 0. Harris (#1) will be playing at the next level if he keeps working and getting better. #33 for Silsbee needs to work on his jumping ability. He had any spring in his legs, a lot other teams would be in trouble.

Been a while since you seen Silsbee play basketball, huh 😒 22-4A put quite a hurting on 21-4A this playoff round. Only Huffman Hargrave managed to survive.

Beating Silsbee this year won't be shocking the world. Been saying all along this is a rebuilding year for the Tigers.

Most of Silsbee's size sits on the bench besides Jones. Tallest are 6`7, 6`4, and three kids who're 6'3. Baltrip (6`0) has the athleticism to play like he's 6`6. I wish Jones would find a good plyometric workout to do this off season. He'd be a lot more scarier if he could jump. Williams gets the most playing time off the bench past that. He usually subs in for Jones. I kinda wish we'd let them both play at once. Might help on the boards more. Will be really interesting to see what the team looks like next year.

They're a bit above average when their 3s are falling.

Yes things are watered down, but good teams should be able to beat average teams in the playoffs. Historical victory all depends on what school you're talking about. It won't mean the same for Hardin Jefferson as is does for Bridge City. BC ain't a bad team. From what I've seen they look decent at the lower classes as well.

I just can't figure Bridge City out. They're capable of games like this, but they also got a few head scratchers in the loss column also.

Game could go either way. It all depends on whether good Silsbee or bad Silsbee shows up. This season being so messed up due to Covid has made for some interesting early round games.
