I hate to say it as a Silsbee homer, but the Tigers don't have a chance in hell of beating Yates. I'm not even sure that's a game that will happen this year.

I think Silsbee plays whoever won between Lee and Mcarthur. I think the game is gonna be at either 2:30 or 4:00pm. This bracket I'm looking at doesn't make it clear. [Hidden Content]

So this is supposed to be Jayce's first game playing, I guess?

Current Silsbee roster list three players at 6`1. After that they have one or two kids listed at an even 6 feet tall. They can at least hope to be a medium sized team after football is over. Besides Jones, who looked like a giant standing next to the other Tigers for the national anthem last night.

If both teams play the best they can, I'm afraid WOS wins by one or two touchdowns. Most teams don't play a full game that way though. Hoping West Orange shoots themselves in the foot with a turnover and a few dumb penalties. If that happens and Silsbee plays mostly mistake free football, the Tigers can take it.

What Silsbee needs more than anything right now is help on the boards. That's the only reason WB won tonight. Not sure how much Martin and Cartwright will help in that regard. There's a few more freshman football players with decent size, but I don't know if they play basketball or not. and the final dunk count was 2 - 0 WB, unless something happened in the last minute of the game. They did try to get cute and do one off a backboard assist and missed horribly.

A shame the only real size we currently have couldn't play. It would have been a different ballgame if WB didn't get so many offensive rebounds.

Argyle is staying D1. Not sure if them and La Vega are gonna be the same region or not. Geographically it make sense, but that don't always mean anything. Melissa is another good D1 team, but again, they're likely to be in the same region as the other two are.

Both Carthage and Celina are dropping down to D2. Liberty Hill is moving up to 5A. I guess 4AD1 will belong to La Vega now. Allen right at 7,000 kids is crazy. What does a high school that size even look like.

All I want is for Silsbee to play a full season next year like they have in these last 3 playoff games this year.

Silsbee making a game of it with them is a step in the right direction. I'll consider this progress.

Is this the same Sam Houston with a half dozen words in their name? The one Kendrick Davis played for? Houston Math Science and Tech whatever it is. Bray needs to save some of them 3s for West Brook.

I'll be honest, I think Silsbee should be the underdog almost any time they play West Orange. The Mustangs have owned us in the regular season.......but not the playoffs. Hoping that continues next week. and for the love of God, can we get this game close to home for both teams. I would suggest Lamar, but I know that ain't gonna happen.

Let's not forget the excellent tackle Briscoe had on special teams tonight 😁
