  1. Hope Devon had a good reason for missing practice.
  2. Remember both Devon and Jordan shot up to 6'4 + during one year. They've got two kids on JV that can dunk now. Maybe they can grow a few inches this off season. JV team has two.....um....beefy kids playing down low now. Maybe they can grow vertically a little also.
  3. Devon supposedly has a hurt hand and has been playing games with it. Not sure exactly what it is. Can't be anything major.
  4. Thought Hardin Jefferson was suppose to have a pretty good team this year. I'll take Silsbee by around 15.
  5. All I really know about Yates is Rubin Jones is still there and likely their best player. Him and Braylon played together on the same team this summer on, I think, the Houston Defenders.
  6. Yeah...they may as well move him to varsity. HF actually had a chance to take the lead in the 4th quarter, but Silsbee finally pulled away. Don't get why their varsity team didn't give their big kid more playing time. I would have put him in the paint and at least tried to stop the Tiger layup drill. Kid looked to be about 6`6 or a little more.
  7. So I guess our Yates posters still haven't came back after last year lol.
  8. Unless something happened after I left in the 4th, the dunk count was 0 - 0. I guess HF can consider that some sort of victory.
  9. Tiger starters sat a lot in the second quarter. I'm sorry but they need to play nearly an entire game. Not trying to embarrass anyone.
  10. These HF kids look like they're at a funeral already lol.
  11. Freshman game was actually a battle. Silsbee - 42 HF - 34 Final.
  12. Sounds like they should be playing in 6A if they're pulling from thousands and thousands of kids.
  13. No UIL team should have to compete with academies for state titles anyways. It's bs. I can almost promise you all those kids ain't from the same neighborhood. Dallas Jesuit is also having a really good year in basketball.
  14. Score from the championship game. Bishop Loughlin - 67 Dunham - 58
  15. Sounds like the basketball rims at this tournament were very kind to the Tigers. Let's shoot like this at home now. Not sure what the state of basketball is like in Alabama if this was the 6A champs.
  16. Nice win. I guess we can calm down a little. This the last game they'll play, I'm assuming? If so then no more losses from here on out.
  17. Whatever happened to run and press? And then run even more and press even more. This new style they're trying ain't working.
