A few scores from yesterday. Lancaster - 53 Skyline - 38 St Marks - 79 DeSoto - 62 St Marks gotta be a loaded private school. For Silsbee I think the main thing that needs to be worked on is playing solid ball for all four quarters. If they had played Skyline like they did in the second half, they would have had a good chance to win. Can't show up for only one half of basketball against other good teams and expect to win.

Just continue to improve and get better. Not the end of the world losing a game in December.

Damn. Need to learn how to deal with teams like this. Classification isn't an excuse when another 4A team has already beaten them by nearly 20 points. It's not a total loss if Silsbee can learn something from this. Same thing happened last year with Duncanville.

Been a few years since Silsbee played Skyline. Think McCain and Adams were sophomores back then. Skyline likes slow, low scoring games. They beat Silsbee by about 10 points, I think. They were highly ranked that year. Don't know how good they're supposed to be this year.

I believe North Shore loses some players in the trenches. I'm sure they have players to fill those gaps, but they'll be a little more inexperienced. Duncanville's QB is amazing. I wouldn't want to see him again if I were NS.

Feel terrible for Coach Samples. Rest assured Duncanville will be back next year. Amazing team in their own right.

They beat the same La Grange team Silsbee played by 18. They got some talent. Still, Tigers need to come out mad and put them away in this second half.

Not really sure. Any team that beat Carthage by running 90 percent of the time must be doing it right. Been told by people who have seen Liberty Hill play that it's something to see.

Well I'm glad Silsbee gave them a better game than this. Thought PG was supposed to be the real deal this year like last season. Guess I was wrong. Can't wait to finally see this vaunted Liberty Hill running game in a few minutes.
