What's wrong with Nederland losing to Bridge City. They need to surround that kid (Hefner) with better talent than that. Wish I could make it early enough to see what the freshman team looks like this year.

Yeah. I just checked and the North Shore/Duncanville game is showing at 7pm on my cable box.

One thing that would worry me is Lonview's running game. They're big up front and one of their backs (number 5) is a tank. Think they've got a little fast one also. Tompkin's running game pushed WB around and Longview's will be much better. Hope they've got a good defensive scheme planned for this.

Westfield had an elite defense. I'm sure that had something to do with the QB play that game.

2016 Katy might have something to say about that. Also, ironically enough, 2003 North Shore might have something to say about that as well.

Who cares who Newton would or wouldn't beat in other classes. That's not their job. Their job is to issue beatings to other 3A teams. It's not their fault that 98 percent of their opponents are horrible.
