Do you know a contact number for the pretournament in Orangefield? I would like to get our little dribblers teams in if possible....thanks Nederland is going to try to have a tournament March 7 and 8. I will update when more information comes out.

Barbers Hill is hosting the regional tournament for the national division March 13 - 15....Orangefield is hosting the regional tournament for the American division March 13 - 15. Nederland MAY host a prep tournament for 10U, 12U, 14U the weekend of March 7th and 8th. Please let me know if anyone is hosting a tournament prior to the regional tournaments.

I was hoping to find some information on some local tournaments prior to the regional tournament, possibly the weekends of March 8, 15 and 22. The little dribblers headquaters suggested the regional tournaments should be held the weekend of March 22; however, that is Easter weekend. I was hoping little dribblers would allow districts to postpone the regional tournament to March 29 to allow for more time considering Springbreak and Easter all fall around the weekends of March 15 and 22.

When and where for 10-U, 12-U, and 14-U boys little dribbler tournaments in March?

I do not think there will be any surprise at the top....Ozen. Second and third place will be between Central, LCM, and Nederland. I thought Dayton had great athletes last year, but most of them play football first. In an era of "year-around" basketball, "basketball only" kids should have the edge over multi-sport kids that Dayton has. This may hurt Vidor with their "man at the point" playing quaterback this fall for Coach Jeff. I have to think as much hoops that are being played during the spring and summer that this will be a huge benefit to programs that feature "basketball only kids."

Ozen.... Just wanted everyone to know Nederland put in a new floor in the Dog Dome....looks great! Hope everyone can go check it out during the Bulldog Classic in early December. I think all the games will be played in the dome.....

Nederland has done well defending the run. Last week they ran a 3-4 defense except for third and long, which they went into a cover 2 formation. If the ends contain the outside, I don't think PNG will score more than two touchdowns. Nederland 24 PNG 14
