  1. Might be even uglier tomorrow night...
  2. Those guys were on the '83 and '84 teams that went 12-1 and lost to really good Willowridge ('83) and Tomball ('84) teams in the 3rd round of the playoffs.
  3. Yeah. Both of those teams were really good.
  4. I see what you did there. Pretty clever! BC was a monster in the mid to late 60's.
  5. I knew you would single yourself out. LOL
  6. Some Jasper folks have a distorted sense of reality and then others just like to needle Silsbee every chance they can get. Y'all already know how I feel about that issue.
  7. I was just on DCTF and they have us at #5 with a 3-0 record (we beat Newton twice, apparently and Silsbee...). I know the AP was kinda screwed up the last few years, but this is worse.
  8. I saw that Texas Football has Jasper favored by 35. Based on that, 49-14 sounds good to me.
  9. Any thoughts on this game? I don't know anything about the Hawks this year.
  10. Jasper 63, Newton 20. FINAL
  11. Jasper scored again with the backups. 63-20.
  12. Limbrick is up to 331 yards. Looks like he's probably done for the night. 56-20 Jasper near the end of the 3rd.
  13. Jeez. Limbrick scored again. He's close to 300 yards and has 6 TD's. 56-14 Jasper. Time to call off the Dawgs.
  14. Agreed. We're not as deep in numbers this year and there are several good backs. We're probably nowhere near done scoring yet.
  15. Limbrick goes over 200 yards and scored on the first play of the half. 49-14 Jasper.
  16. I'd like to think we're that good, but who knows? We got out of the gate fast last week against Silsbee too, but turnovers hurt us and they got back in it before the game was called before halftime. I think Newton's better than they've shown tonight.
  17. Newton's numbers are down and Jasper's got a lot more size.
  18. Pretty crazy. Jasper also dodged a bullet with that tornado in the spring. It's not normal for Jasper to catch a break like that, let alone two in the same year.
  19. 42-14 Jasper at halftime.
  20. It's amazing how 15 miles between Jasper and Newton can make that much of a difference in damage.
  21. It's too early to tell what Jasper might do, but it's pretty obvious that Newton is way down.
  22. I think it was #9. I don't remember his name for some reason.
  23. Newton scores with 6:48 left in the first half. Jasper 36, Newton 14 after failed 2 point conversion.
  24. Jasper leads 36-8 with just over 7 minutes left in the first half. Newton has the ball at the Bulldog 11 after a bad snap over the punter's head. Jasper has some real issues in the kicking game.
