When's the last time that we lost a district game? I can't remember....

Jasper will run out the clock. 54-25 is the final score. Jasper wins the district and finishes the regular season 10-0 for the first time since 1983!

Jasper scores again with 4:07 to go. 54-19. Remember that the Roughriders led 14-6 after the first quarter. That's a 48-5 run for the Bulldogs since. Still no word on Hunt's injury, but they have at least 4 more really good tailbacks...

Jasper scores a TD on a fake field goal. 47-19 with about 8 minutes left.

Jasper scores on a 58 yd TD run. 33-19 Dawgs. The defense seems to have made good adjustments and Center's gonna have a tougher time scoring from here on out.

Center kicks a field goal. 20-17 Jasper at half time. Good ballgame.

Jasper scores with :49 left in the first half to take the lead. 20-14 Bulldogs and they'll get the second half kickoff.

We definitely seem to be lacking focus, but we should be okay if we can eliminate some mistakes. Center definitely came to play. We just scored as I'm typing this, but the conversion failed. 14-12 Center about halfway through the 2nd quarter.

On paper, Jasper should win this game handily, but Center's gonna be ready to play and I'm curious about how Coach Barbay will approach it. Will the starters get more snaps? Will Hunt be used as the feature back again? What are your thoughts?

I haven't paid very close attention to them since we played back in October. Are they showing signs of getting better or has the district been really weak and you can't really tell?

I predict that Huntington will play the game of their lives, but WOS will win 45-3.

Jasper had played clean football all season leading up to Friday night. I expect a focused Bulldog team in Center this week and a big game for Montavien Hunt. That spells trouble for the Roughriders.

Final score: Jasper 54, Tarkington 24. The starters sat the whole second half. Tarkington played their butts off. Gotta give them credit.

Jasper is looking flat coming off of the bye week. They lead Tarkington 34-16 halfway through the 3rd quarter.

I like your positive outlook and you're right. Mr. Lay has been a first class gentleman for as long as I've known of him.

Mr. Lay called Hunt's name on one of those TD runs, but he's getting to the point that I can't trust a lot of what he's calling anymore and the other guy isn't much better.

If we lose that game, I will shave my head. I usually do on Fridays anyway. LOL

He'll get more carries against Tarkington after the week off. Gotta keep him sharp. I think that Center game might be a good one for a half.
