The error is that a lot of white people are predisposed to fear black men due to the racial narratives that have been fed to them by their parents, grandparents, and the culture of our country since it was established. Black men have been painted as criminals, thugs, thieves, and mostly trouble, and white people in general still view them as such. Hence why a white man walking by your wife in Parkdale Mall parking lot at night doesn't elicit much of a response from her, but a black man walking by at the same time will cause her to tense up and ensure she has her gun in her purse. You can argue this point all day long, but everyone knows what I have just described is the reality. The reason why white cops kill black men for no reason is this very fear that I am describing. White cops pull black men over and immediately have their senses heightened and prepare for the worst. Black men run from the cops are are shot in the back (happened just a day or so ago) because the white cops are so fearful that they feel justified in killing a man for fleeing arrest. Happened to Alton Sterling, Phillando Castille, Trayvon Martin, and just happened to Patrick Harmon a few hours ago. If you cannot see the atrocity, I cannot continue to engage your Neanderthal way of thinking. Before you ask, I am white, I am southern, I am not a liberal, and I still feel like African Americans are unjustly murdered by police officers. Do us all a favor, try to be a part of the solution instead of helping Trump exacerbate the problem.

I am baiting because I remember how you guys ran Don Price out of town several years ago after he had proven to be successful and win plenty of games. Please see the comment I quote below that illustrates my point. Who in the world does this person think BH is going to hire who will "pick up the bill with W's"? From where will you lure a bigger fish than TW to come to BH and take advantage of the "resources and facilities"? You plucked a multi time 6A state championship winning coach from the largest school in the state and you guys still think there is a bigger fish that you can lure to MONT BELVIEU???? Man, someone must've coached at Huntington before moving on to his JV gig. All that aside, If the community doesn't care about football, then why would they care enough to run coaches out of town? These guys are taking this job and leaving at the first sign of greener pastures and in doing so they are crippling any chance Huntington has to every build a program. It will take someone who actually wants to be there to turn the thing around.

No one can argue with the track record of reloading at WOS, but it's hard for me to expect it simply based on history. I hope you are right because I love celebrating with the Mustangs in Arlington!!

Brother, those are thriving programs at every small school in Texas. FFA and rodeo aren't the issues in Huntington, otherwise lots of schools would be in trouble. The issue is the Jimmys and Joes. There simply aren't any players there and there aren't any players there because no one has ever stayed around there long enough to build a program. It will never get better until a coach invests.

How long until the BH faithful start to call for Westerberg's head? Just an FYI, I think they'd be crazy to do that, just curious when it will start.
