The site says they are drafting this week. Are they holding tryouts or just drafting by name?

HF has always had a great little dribblers program. The problem comes into play in high school not so much girls but with the boys of coaches pulling the players all different directions to choose a sport. The boys program is non-existant. No good basketball coach is going to stay at a school that doesn't care about basketball. We have an extremely tough district to compete in and need truly dedicated players. Same goes with the pull between volleyball and basketball.

Another great player that Hamshire has lost to another school.............hmm wonder why?????? Smart move kid!

Good luck to both teams we are proud of both of you for getting this far. It would be hard to pick a winner both have the talent to pull this one out. Should be a great game!!

I agree with you, fielding errors have got to improve. When this happens I think we will be ok

HF doesn't have enough players to make the usual 3 teams so they have to split up the rest between 2 teams. There will be a lot of bench warming going on out there. They need to do something to raise the interest in the baseball program. Last year I believe they only had 2 Freshman playing. What happened to all of the little leaguers? They are pulled between all of the sports and forced to choose their favorites. This is tough in a 3A school there aren't enough kids to spread around.

Until HF gets an athletic director that cares about anything else but football, the basketball program will always be on the back burner.  Maybe one day.

At HF it was the athletic policy that if a player was ejected for unsportsmanlike conduct that they would also be punished by the school and sit out the next game also.

You obviously do not know what you are talking about....they do this after every game win or lose. It is to show respect for the opposing team.

We did not give up Coach Broussard willingly. We all wish he was still here but we are happy for him to be somewhere that he is appreciated. The kids loved and respected him and truly miss him. We wish the best for him and for the Indians.......
