This Dayton team is getting close to playing as good as the Dayton team that clocked Nederland last year 63-0. Nederland should thank there lucky stars they are in division I and won't have to get humiliated again in a Bronco stampede. Hmmmmm, reading this post tells me then that L-Town could maybe beat this team by 2 points then? I mean your getting "close to playing as good". that's a good one raideroldtimer ;D ;D

I just hope the seniors from both teams go out and have fun playing Friday night. Hate to see any kids final season end like this. Good luck to both teams and HAVE FUN!

dayton is just trying to intimidate us, to 'scare' us. I'm not saying we would win. But, we won't be intimidated. Even if we lose 100-0 our boys will go out there and do there best to the end. No intimidation.

Even when the other team scores NINE TOUCHDOWNS!!! ps... While Nederland is enjoying their big 4th quarter lead, they might just show some of those Bronco TD's from last year to let you know what is going to happen to Lumberton in the first round of the playoffs!!! People seem to have a tendency to skip over the good posts from Lumberton fans and focus on the bad. Such is life on a forum. Makes it more interesting.

We Will...ALL of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And please...no whining about the officiating should/when we win. ;D As a Lumberton fan, i will never give up my right to whine. Why does that not surprise me at all.. : You know how it is...A LOT of teams are whining about their coaches EACH WEEK...we just choose the refs. We like our coaches.

I think we can all agree that there are stupid fans for all teams and they don't represent the majority of the fans. Sad that people have to act so childish. Especially in front of kids. It was a good game that could have gone either way. I knew PNG would be ready to play us tough, no matter how their season has gone so far. And we do appreciate the support during the playoffs. Last year and hopefully this year. I have some friends who still talk about all the PNG playoff games they used to go to. Wherever you played, they were there rooting you on.

Yea, man. I was so frustrated in that game. We have came a long way. We are playing better than I have expected. Thanks, L-Train! you're welcome... okay, that makes Dayton, Livingston, and now Central who played better after losing to us...hmmm...maybe we should start charging for our services

I think it's too late. We now know that they leave when they're getting pounded just like everybody else, they don't travel as well when they're losing, they blame the coach when their talent isn't what it once was... their cover is blown, they are human.

Don't think you upset prediction wasn't going through my mind...I believe you said 'PNG will win on a last minute drive' or something like that. Well, we were tied and PNG was driving the ball with a couple of minutes left. I thought 'dang, how did scooter know?' but, alas, you were wrong ;D (but too close for comfort)

LUMBERTON 42 PN-G 14 WOW, tougher game than you Slumberton folks thought, huh? (Overconfidence is a killer) hmmm...don't know what you read but I just reread all the predictions. Except for 1 or 2 raider fans expecting an easy win, nearly every Lumberton poster cautioned about being overconfident and said it would be tough. Sure, they predicted wins but I didn't see overconfidence. You focused on those 1 or 2 posters and ignored the rest, I guess. There were a lot of non Lumberton posters predicting an easy win. We knew it would be a tough game. Playing at PNG is always tough. Especially with the fact that we had never beat PNG and playing in their new stadim that they had already lost in...we knew they wouldn't just lay down. We knew they would put up a fight. Which they did. But, we won. And that's all that matters.

Can't seem to let that one go, can we. : glad someone else sees this...

Well, no matter how Livingston looked against us, obviously they regrouped and made adjustments. Any team can have a bad night and not play well. That being said, having only seen Livingston when they played us, I am surprised they have done as well as they have. Wasn't expecting that. But they are certainly getting the job done.

I have a lot of friends in Silsbee. Many good people. I pull for Silsbee every week and will continue to do so. Hold your heads up guys. Go out and play and show people who you really are!
