  1. I just realized I should have put this link for full effect! [Hidden Content]
  2. POP...POP POP POP.......POP...........POP P-POP P-POPPOPPOP......POP.....................GET IT READY Let me break it down from what will be the perspective of a Barbers Hill player. Lets say his name is "Willy". So Willy steps off the bus and immediately his eyes are fixed on the enormous home stands and towering press box of "The Reservation". He leans over to his buddy and says, "That is freaking awesome. There is no way they can fill all those seats?" His friend replies, "No way bro, it's only a predistrict game." Their focus quickly shifts to the massive scoreboard and jumbotron. Willy can only think of one word to describe it, “WOWâ€. Little does he know that in just a few short hours he will witness one of the most electric high school football atmospheres on the planet. Willy and the Eagles begin there pregame warm-ups, occasionally glancing up at the PN-G Faithful, eager to see just how full the stands will be. He hears something in the distance, BOMbombombom BOMbombombom BOMbombombom. Laissez les Bon Temps Roulez, the Indian Band and Indianettes begin marching into the stadium. The Eagles finish up and head into the locker room, emerging a short time later. Willy looks up to see PN-G has packed the house 10,000 strong. His team slowly makes there way to the run through. The PN-G crowd goes wild as they see the Indian locker room doors open. BOMbombombom BOMbombombom BOMbombombom
  3. These predictions are cracking me up. Defensive struggle....I'm gonna say NO. PN-G's offense will destroy BH. 42-7 PNG (28-0 at halftime) This is not your old Power Run, 8 minute drive PN-G offense. GETCHA POPCORN READY!!!!
  4. All I have to say is IMPRESSIVE. It was obvious PAM had much more depth, they have twice the student body so they should. PNG's second team couldn't hang with them. Yes PNG won 21 -17, more importantly they dominated the 1st Quarter of the simulated game ( 14 - 0 ). The first quarter was 1st team vs. 1st team, 2nd quarter and beyond they started mixing it up.
  5. Or we will see just how good PN-G is or isn't. That's more along the lines of what I was thinking. Texas City game is on September 11th. It will be PN-G's third and final tune up game before district play begins. So yes, we will have a very good idea of just how good the Indians are.
  6. Congrats to LCM, sounds like yall are on the right path. Texas City will be at The Reservation in a few weeks. We'll see just how good TC is or isn't.
  7. Yes...The "College Gameday" crew is in town to cover the PN-G intra-squad scrimmage tomorrow. It will be televised on ESPN 8 "The Ocho". Tune in, it should be interesting.
  8. what is that suppose to mean i don't get it REALLY....You didn't put smiley faces so you must be serious....Please tell me you know who Corso and Herbstreit are.
  9. Don't worry TexasHSFootball.....There are more than a few people on this board that are absolutely terrified of what is going on at PN-G.
  10. PN-G will prove soon enough why!!
  11. I agree....That is not PN-G purple. They need to be darker, like the helmet. Send'em back
  12. All PN-G home games New coach, new facility, new uniforms, new helments, replays on the Jumbotron.........I am flat out FIRED UP about this season!!! Can't wait! Okay, if I have to choose one game....MCM @ the Rez is a no brainer.
  13. I'm gonna go ahead and say...........Both
  14. Those rankings should stir the pot....Again
  15. Not a bad view is it? Not many schools in the state can provide an atmosphere comparable to PN-G!
  16. WOW....I didn't realize that. They are off the map according to this Ranking. They're not even ranked in the top 15 for region III.
  17. Based on this years TAKS test results...He would more likely be a Nederland Highschool student. ;D Actually it was a member of the latest group of illegal immigrants that the contractor hired. The guy was an excellent painter. Not so good with English.
  18. You obviously don't know what is going on at PNG. Pay attention over the next several years...You might be impressed. I'm not bashing any teams you speak of. We all have good and bad years. Your talking about a team that has been successful for 80+ years...the good old days are far from over.
  19. You must have a short memory bc last time our district came south stomped a hole in your district. Kilgore, Jacksonville and Marshall ring a bell? Ask Nederland, Ozen, and I want to say PNG. Was not good and history will repeat itself IF your teams get that far. Last year Longview lost to Lake Travis and SS won state. Toughest district in the state for four-a. I remember that...PNG got smashed by Kilgore (Eventual State Champs that year). Your district had a great year, congrats. You want to talk about the past? How many State Championships does Marshall have? How many times have they played in the championship game? I know they lost in the championship game back to back years recently, again congrats on that accomplishment. What before that?
  20. Don't konw much about Marshall YET...But wouldn't mind seeing that matchup in the playoffs after that comment.
  21. At first you told us what the stats WOULD be, now you are saying that maybe they could put up those stats. I'm not focusing on anything but your statement. I don't really look at stats that much until someone makes a statement like you did. I'm a WOS fan we can talk stats if you would like. ;D I stand by my original prediction. No need for word games. I think you missed the point. Obviously stats do not win district or state championships, as I stated previously, based on stats only the 1996 PNG team should have gone further than the 1999 team. They didn’t. My prediction includes what I believe 2009 team regular season record will be and also how, offensively and defensively, they will achieve that record.
  22. PNG will dismantle Barbers Hill on August 28th
  23. Yes, I believe they could put up better stats. However, stats alone do not guarantee a spot in the state championship game. If you need an example look above at the stats I posted for the 1996 PNG team, they only went two rounds deep. If you focus on stats that team should have won State.
