HD has always been the under dog, even when we won our State titles and the 43 game National Record winning streak. Even with the 7th winningest program in small school football(over 530 wins) we have always been the under dog. HD NATION is good with that ole pal. Orangefield is scrimmaging Vidor, we just jumped in to get some work against some talent. I'm sure HD's Coach Huckaby helped scramble HD an opponent to scrimmage. So HD gets Vidor's JV and some Varsity backups. Coach Huckaby was the former AD/HC at Orangefield.

Just got word from HD AD/HC Josh Finney. HD will be scrimmaging Vidor's JV and some Varsity kids that Vidor's HC wants to get a good look at. Either way a good test for the HD Bobcats, as they work to build a 1A State contender this season.

Coach Finney told me Vidor's 2's. Not JV... hmmmm. Much better test than Beaumont Legacy either way.

Even though it's Vidor's JV and some Varsity backups, it's still a 4A school with 1400 kids compared to HD's 190 kids. HD will be tested big time. Be like scrimmaging a real good playoff 1A-2A team for sure.

HD will scrimmage Vidor's Varsity 2nd String Friday at 4pm in Orangefield. Not Beaumont Legacy.
