Coach Gardner is a legend, Alto will surely not improve with his departure. Alto will feel this in the form of a small minor set back. I see them finishing 2nd in District and seeing HD again. HD vs Alto will again be a barn burner. HD is loaded and this move by Gardner may just catapult HD past Alto. HD Nation!

How many players yall lose to graduation? Is that big and fast TE gone?

They would DESTORY HD this year. [/quote]Yes terrible. Tarkington won 2 games last season, which was a good season for them. lol. 1A Hull-Daisetta whipped 3A Tarkington 41-18 in 2011. In 2010 a 3 win HD team beat 3A Tarkinton 28-6. Tarkington is not serious about football. Tarkington is Lucky they did not have to play and get embarrassed by 1A HD last season. HD was good last season and has just about everybody coming back. HD would crush Tarkington 60-0 this coming season.  :D SMH LOL

No small school players. HD RB/LB Darrell Lavalais should be on here somewhere. Also HD WR/FS Aaron Mosley should be listed if we are talking best players in SETX. Clearly, the person who made this list has watched only a limited amount of games and has obtained only data on the big schools. These two players listed above could start at big schools. Stay tuned.

I don't know if Hill has left yet. My son seen him at school Friday.

Finney and Huckaby together can handle everything. All the other H-D coaches are young and learning. Coach Hill was the defensive coordinator and was groomed well by Finney. I would love to see Coach Stan Hodges come back and run the defense. Great defensive mind. He is d-coordinator at Galveston.
