H-D vs WH is always a fired up intense ball game. These two schools have been playing each other since the 50's. No love loss in this big rivalry.

[/quote]Since you appear to be a little slow I will explain. This Mosley kid was a 3A all-district WR. Mosley was Liberty's top weapon, even as Liberty got blowed out, he would burn 3A defenses for 70 yard TD's. So now Mosley will be facing 1A defenses with an HD team that has the District MVP at tailback in Darrell Lavalais. So... unless your a tennis buff and not a football buff, you would see my point. And yes, blazing speed for Mosley, especially on a 1A scale.  ;) ;D 8)

With the new addition of blazing fast 6'4 WR Aaron Mosley, a kid that was very explosive in 3A ball, HD will not have a problem passing now.  ;) Colmesneil needs to worry about Iola. SA may whip up on the Tigers and Yellowjackets for all I know, but my opinion is that San Augustine is over-rated and the third best team in that district. Not that that is a bad thing, considering all three of those teams are top 15 in the state in my opinion. I honestly hope San Augustine beats West Sabine and then loses to Alto so we get the Wolves in the playoffs. Anyone who thinks this is the same ole' Hull-Daisetta from years past that will lose in the first round by 40 is sadly mistaken. Ask Lovelady, Normangee, or Groveton how physical HD is, and they weren't even playing up to their full potential in those games. HD held Groveton to 131 total yards and one offensive touchdown. (Heck, they only crossed midfield one other time) That was one week after that same Groveton team dropped 40 points on Alto, beating them by 20 points. Alto has improved since then, and so has HD. San Augustine lost to 4-3 Garrison. The same Bulldog team that Teneha beat by 2 TD's. It's all about matchups and that's why they play the games. I promise you that no 1A school is just going to roll over HD this season (or next for that matter). Our losses have been against 2A schools and Kountze and Deweyville are a combined 10-4 this season.  I wouldn't be surprised if SA loses to Alto and WS. None of our kids are scared of San Augustine. Until last year when San Augustine was crushed in the first round of the playoffs, they're record for the previous 5 years was a whopping 13-37. Four out of those five years they won 3 games or less.(And before you have to check, HD was down and still posted a 32-23 record with 5 playoff appearances)  That doesn't put the Wolves on another level and is not much to be affraid of.... and no, 7 on 7 doesn't count. I believe this game will be close, the team that has less turnovers wins. WH 14 Colmesneil 12 Hull-Daisetta has the best player in the District at tailback, Darrell Lavalais. This District will get ripped up by Lavalais. It starts friday night. Ask the 2A teams we played about him.  ;) H-D has the biggest most physical players in District. Probably average 6'3 250lbs on both lines. Cook, Ken Lavalais, Stanley and Hopkins are huge. Iola has an explosive and smart QB. The Coach's son Martinez is a hard worker and student of the game. If he catches fire, long night for the Bobcats. Iola also has a big TE at 6'7 230lbs. I believe H-D's Coach Finney has his boys ready. You are completely right. Huckaby or Hill should be covering the tall TE, both kids have good ball skills. HD's Coach Finney and Huckaby have some cool formations they will throw out there. With HD having two weeks to prepare, gonna be interesting. HD has some big hogs on the D-line. DE's Ken Lavalais and Thomas Stanley are both 6'3 260lbs or so. HD has several giant lineman. Martinez will be hit this week, no JV stuff.  ;)
