Drake and Lavalase did not play. HD scored 2 times and moved the ball up and down the field at will. Burkeville scored 1 time against HD second string, not twice. H-D could have chose to play their studs and blown Burkeville out. HD sat their studs to have them fresh and completely healthy for over 50 year rival Hardin.

Hull-Daisetta comes to Burkeville thursday at 6pm for a visit.

Winning percentage is one of the lowest in se texas. Winning around 35% of their games since football was established there.

Good post HDBobcat9. Bobcats drive 70 yards and score on the first Finney Era drive. HD looked real crisp and disciplined on offense. Coach Huckaby's slot-t offense looked awesome. Having Finney and Huckaby both on one team Coaching is awesome! Yes, Coach Huckaby formerly the HC at Orangefield. HD's slot-t is the real deal! The HD o-line and d-line dominated. The HD backfield was perfect with timing and chemistry. HD Bobcats!!!!

H-D Bobcat football team looked good at meet the Bobcats night! Great to see 22 kids or more on JV and the Varsity had about 30 kids. Varsity has some big physical kids for 1A ball. Most of the lineman range from 220-280lbs. Bobcats get to unleash some stored aggression tonight vs Warren and a Kelly team that had a great season last year. Go Bobcats!

H-D scrimmage will be in Beaumont Friday at 6pm vs Kelley and Warren.

Coach Finney told me H-D will scrimmage in Beaumont Friday at 6pm vs Kelly and Warren. 3 way scrimmage. Next thursday H-D will travel again to scrimmage Burkeville.

So no Sabine Pass? Well...don't think it matters, like you said the Woodlands scrimmage will be good to watch. See you there.

I remember watching film on West Sabine and we realized that if he was getting the ball, he looked up while in his three-point stance in the backfield. If he wasn't getting the ball, his head would stay facing the ground...... It didnt' matter... even when we knew he was getting the ball, he was a hard to stop. And he had like 15 tackles at middle linebacker too. I watched some film of Desmond Lacy from last year, and he's a great player as well. Can't wait to see the numbers he puts up for West Sabine. [/quote]Maybe you never heard, but not to many years ago, Adrian Anderson from HD won State in the 100m and 200m, also H-D's sprint relay placed 2nd in State.
