Let's not forget Lovelady has crushed teams like New Waverly, Groveton, Garrison and Grapeland. Good luck Oilers. Keep in mind their stud runningback was out 3-4 weeks with a hamstring injury. He is healthy and playing friday night. SCARY!!

WH is indeed a good team. WH has a potent offense and great Coaches. I feel like WH has not been tested. An injured Kountze squad was the only good win this season, the other games were against weak teams. Lovelady is on another level and will prove that friday night. WH will dominate a rebuilding Evadale team. WH is the real deal and will go untested and unbeaten until they play Lovelady, WS and H-D in District. WH is due for a good season. I'm excited for them. I love their offense, real flashy. WH 50 Evadale 12

You would figure a 3A could beat a 1A with 30 kids,but last year H-D dominated with a 28-6 victory.

H-D's offense looked great against Crossroads, putting up 53 points. H-D's defense will get better. I would like to see H-D mix up their pass defense. Also would love to see #73 and #66 play on the offensive line. Very excited about the physical play of #9 on defense for H-D, kid had some big hits and QB pressures. Film will show alot for H-D. Coach Henry and his staff are some of the best Coaches in SE Texas and it showed in their formations and play calling. I love to see the quad WR packages and the jet sweeps. The HB pass and hook n' ladder were awesome. WH is the real deal and H-D better play a different defense vs WH than they been using, or it's gonna get ugly for my beloved Bobcats. WH has a very fun and exciting offense to watch. Kountze watch out.

Well... H-D looked alot better last week in regards to turnovers. The defense gave up two long TD runs last week. Bobcats lost a close game last week 12-7 to Iola. H-D had a TD called back for Unsportsman like conduct, which occurred before the player reached the endzone(new rule/player started celebrating). That TD would have won the game for the Bobcats 13-12. I believe H-D has a good team and will do well in District. I would like to see our top players play both ways. In my opinion, a 1A with 30 players can't have their top athletes/studs on the sidelines. Even when H-D was a 2A with 50 players, the top athletes played both ways. They can rest on special teams. People forget Deweyville was in H-D and WH's district for years in 2A. H-D and WH dropped down to 1A and Deweyville stayed. No surprise Deweyville could be coming down to 1A. H-D has about 150 kids, heard Deweyville has about 190.

Well... I am looking forward to H-D playing a game without fumbling 6 times. H-D has the Coaches and athletes to have a good year. If H-D can solve it's turnover issues, the Bobcats will once again make the playoffs. Marberry, Drake, Edmondson, Hickman, Taylor and Downs are some of the best athletes in the district.
