With Chisum Marberry at QB and Keith Gilmore at RB, H-D will have a potent attack. Also Tyler Drake may just be the best athlete on the team, and Drake brings some break away football speed to the offense. Michael Tanner at 6'4 should continue to dominate and improve at DE/TE and will be a good target for Marberry. Andrew Persley and Chris Taylor are too work horses that will both dominate on both sides of the ball. Explosive Freshman Tyler Edmonson could move up in District play to help H-D. Go Bobcats !!

Chisum Marberry started every game last season at QB for H-D as a Sophomore. Chisum was Newcomer of the year and looked good last season. I heard Chisum once again attended the University of Texas football camp this summer. Also it looks like Marberry has put on about 12 lbs of muscle this summer. With the Bobcats bringing back Gilmore, Marberry, Drake, Taylor and Tanner they should have a good season.

I believe Lovelady, West Sabine and H-D will make the playoffs.

The teams are Lovelady, West Sabine, Hull-Daisetta, Colmesneil and West Hardin. Three teams make the playoffs.

This new District is gonna be exciting to watch.

Fair enough. But let's not forget H-D reloads too. H-D has always dominated in District play. True, Lovelady and West Sabine will be a tough game for H-D. I played WS my 4 years on varsity at H-D and we did pretty good against them. Lovelady just graduated 20 seniors on a 1A Team, WOW !! H-D is loaded with talent the next 4 seasons !!

In my opinion H-D will do well. Lovelady and West Sabine will be a tougher test for sure. H-D has a ton of talent moving up for the next 4 seasons. The JV and junior high has been dominate as of late. Also the Varsity is full of explosive and experienced players.

Hull-Daisetta should attend. I texted Coach Slack regarding the opening.

[/quote] Not sure where your getting your information about talent from.  They or you must be drinking from Pawpaw's Corn Still.  WH will have most of their main defense returning & lost minimum people on offense.  QB will be new person, already have some running backs ready to step in, got a few bigger kids that can move into starting lineman spots.  I have a pretty good idea of who the new QB will be or that least who it should be, but that is obviously Coach Henry's decision after he gets to evaluate them this summer.
