The Coaching will be top notch. WH just does not have alot of talent. This move might effect H-D with Coach Henry being familiar with the H-D program and players. Also I wonder if Coach Henry is taking any other H-D Coach's with him. It will be interesting to see who H-D hires to replace Henry.

I wonder why Hull-Daisetta nevers does 7 on 7 anymore? H-D's Head Coach Russell Roberts started 7 on 7 in this area back in 1995. Had tournaments in Daisetta every weekend in the off-season it seemed. Very few schools participated back then.

Regardless of how much you like H-D, we have one of the highest winning percentages in Southeast Texas from the start of our football program to the present. Legendary tradition that few schools ever experience.

But I think you are to high on Lovelady. Lovelady has been good for the last 5 years or so, but they do not have a winning tradition like the H-D Bobcats. H-D has and will always dominate in District play. For the next 5 seasons H-D has their best talent pool since the late 80's and early 90's. By the way Lovelady is losing 20 seniors to graduation on a 30 man rostered team. H-D will be fine in District.

What time does the game start on the 12th? Also I noticed Hull-Daisetta does not have any players playing in the game. Jacolby Humphrey is a good Senior player and should be playing in the All-Star game.

Coach Henry is a friend of mine and the Offensive Coordinator of my Bobcats. Coach Henry is an awesome Coach and has done a great job in H-D. But at the same time Coach Henry has seen all the home town politics Coach Slack has had to deal with. He might not want the WH job. Who knows !! Most people would love to be their Alma Maters Coach.

In my opinion we will only have 4 tough games, Kountze, Tarkington(3A), Lovelady and West Sabine. The next 5 seasons will be great ones for H-D, so much talent coming up.

But it dang sure helps !! Bottom line is, Dayton was terrible from the time they first started a football program all the way up to about 15 years ago. LaMarque and Friendswood also went through a developement phase years back and their football programs really became dominant. If Dayton would have not grown and stayed the same, then Dayton would not have as good a program as they have now. Take a look at Liberty !!

I have lived in Liberty County all my life, Dayton was always a doormat program until about 14 years ago. Dayton is good now because of the development of the area. All the city people moving to Dayton from Houston.

Waste of money. Glad they did away with it.

Why would you ask such a stupid question !!! Coaches coach for the love of the game and the love of the student/athletes. Most Coaches are living a dream.
