There is no need to pronounce Keith Gilmore's name wrong and be disrespectful. You are an adult, so act like it. No one has got on this thread and called Jeremy Robertson, Jeremy Robinson or Billy Nichols, Billy Nachos. All three of these kids are alike in one way, they are good football players. Keith Gilmore is different in one way compared to Nichols and Robertson, Keith Gilmore stood tall and played hard all season even as his teammates and supporting cast fell like flies with injuries. Week after week Gilmore kept fighting as his buddies went down with injuries or moved away. Something like 5 starting players gone since preseason. I am not sure Robertson or Nichols could have continued to be the dominant player they are under those circumstances. My hat is off to Mr. Keith Gilmore, even with all the pressure he never gave up and he lead the Bobcats to the playoffs. Also lets not forget he has not got on here and ran his mouth like all the players from other schools. So when you see #35 Keith Gilmore standing in the cool Friday night lights, just turn and say "MOMA THERE GOES THAT BAD MAN" !!! ;D ;) :-* -
Is that the new Panther Stadium in Bullard? If so, that's a super nice place to play, other than not having a full-size scoreboard. Good luck to the Bulldogs. Honestly, all the beasts of Region III are in Div II, so its wide open for you guys to make a deep run. Make 23-A proud Dawgs!!
Yep, HDBobcat9 and myself were in Bullard last night to watch the Cayuga stud Traylon Shead play against Beckville. Bullard does have a super nice Stadium. Good luck Dogs !!!
Hey 55 just were is this feild at i heard it was in Conroe. Is that true?
Well it is owned by Conroe ISD. But really not in the Conroe City limits. So yes and no. It is only one year old and has the NFL type field turf. Also has a giant jumbotrone screen in stadium. Woodforest Bank Stadium 19115 David Memorial Drive, Shenandoah, TX 77385 phone 936-709-7259 (home field for Oak Ridge High, The Woodlands High, and The Woodlands College Park High). -
Robertson missed three quarters of the Burkeville/Hull game..and I did not see him get run over. Gilmore is good..I will give him his props...but he is not the best offensive or defensive player in the district. Sorry.
It was the play Robertson got hurt. His shoulder I think. They hit head up. -
The game is being played Thursday night at 7:30 in Conroe at Woodforest Stadium, H-D is the visitor. The stadium is really in Shenandoah not Conroe. Woodforest Bank Stadium 19115 David Memorial Drive, Shenandoah, TX 77385 phone 936-709-7259 (home field for Oak Ridge High, The Woodlands High, and The Woodlands College Park High.

Evadale is well Coached and has some tough defensive players. On offense they have Billy Nichols leading the way as their playmaker. Mart is cold-blooded across the board on both sides. Good luck Rebs we will be pulling for yall. Mart 49 Evadale 0 P.S. I believe Mart keys on Nichols and swarms all night on defense.
That sounds like all the players on the list. Gilmore is very very good and well deserving of any award he will inevitably get soon, but the two best in this district are Harvey and Robertson IMO..Harvey hits hard and Robertson is as intimidating as any Defensive player in the state.
Did you see Robertson get crushed and stepped on by Gilmore !!! Ran over !! Knocked out of the game !! NUFF SAID HI MY NAME IS KEITH !! If Robertson is so bad to the bone, which he is. What does that make Gilmore? -
I think HD goes to another district next year.
Looks like it will be H-D, WH, Colmesneil,Timpson and San Augustine next year. Evadale, HI, SP,Burkeville and someone else will play in different district. Not official just what I have heard. Also Chronicle how could you not mention Gilmore, he ran over Robertson all night before knocking him out of the game. -

This kid is the first 1A skilled player to ever get a full ride scholarship offer to the University of Texas. He stands 6'3 215 lbs and runs a 4.3 forty. Traylon scored 52 TD's last year. Traylon Shead is #2 in career rushing yards for the State of Texas, with 8,988 yards so far. Traylon is behind the great Kenny Hall from Sugarland who rushed for 11,232 yards from 1950-1953. There is talk of him starting for the Longhorns as a freshman next year. He is bad to the bone, and remember he is playing on a 1A team Cayuga. Check out this link, it will blow your mind. He destroys power house teams like Alto and many others all through the video !!! [Hidden Content]
Well, you got two things right. He's going to Texas and he's second all time in yards. There is absolutely zero talk about him starting at Texas as a freshmen by anybody with a brain. He runs a 4.5 at best. Only 4 players ran a sub 4.4 at last years NFL combine, and none of them were running backs. Just to give you a little perspective Jamaal Charles ran a 4.38 at the combine in 08. All that being said I'm a huge Horns fan and hope he does great at UT. And for the record, the best RB in texas is between Herschel Sims, Malcolm Brown, or Aaron Green.
Guess your Mack Brown there Mr. know it all !!! What a guy !!! LOL !!! Some Horns fan !! You don't know crap about my Horns or good talent, stick to tennis pal !!! LOL !!! ;D ;) :o

One players for example may run a 4.39 just once and then a 4.42 and 4.44. Forget the forty talk, how good does this kid look !!! Second behind the legend Kenny Hall !! And that crap about kids not wanting to hit him, maybe a few but most of those teams were top ranked playoff teams with good defensive players. Like Alto, Grapeline, Tenaha, Carlisle, Maud and Simms-Bowie. Tough teams to run on !!! ;D

Also there is not many kids right behind the great Kenny Hall either !!! 9,000 yards rushing and counting !! Traylon is currently 10th all-time in the nation in career rushing yards !!! Still got the playoffs left.

I played 4 years on Varsity and remember that fact. -
I've seen him play a couple time and he's the real deal and could start for any school in the state...regardless of classification. The kid is big and can run, although I have to say that he's closer to a 4.5 than a 4.3
No way he is 4.5 in the forty. Traylon is a true 4.3 guy. Watch the video, he is running away from power house defenses in the playoffs. On most of these runs the defense has angles and still can't catch him. Trust me a 4.5 forty won't get you that many 70 and 80 yard TD runs !!! Also he went to State in the 100. I am going to watch him play Friday night.

It was nasty, Gilmore ran him over and knocked him out of the game. Keith Gilmore hands down was the best defensive player in District, on a real banged up team. -

Looking at the playoff bracket,Colmesneil hands down has the easiest road to State. Colmesneil does not have to face the tough top ranked teams like H-D and Evadale. Colmesneil could go very far in the playoffs.
