Congrats Bobcats !!! If we continue feeding Keith Gilmore the ball, we will take care of business and make the playoffs. Twenty or more carries a game for Gilmore, and the Bobcats have a chance to win every game. Keep giving our best player the ball.

H-D needs to line up on offense with Keith Gilmore at fullback and Tyler Drake at tailback every play for 4 quarters. Pound the ball the rest of the season with these two studs. Man you must be a retard !!! H-D was and will be the only competition for Evadale. I think 14-7 is a tough game. Evadale will crush Colmesneil along with H-D. Time to play some real teams Colmesneil !!!

I understand the Colmesneil fans are happy, this is their football teams best start ever. But I don't see Colmesneil getting their first win against H-D this friday. H-D has the best defense in the district, lets not forget H-D held the high scoring Evadale Rebs to one touchdown on offense. H-D 28 Colmesneil 8

Congrats to Evadale, yall have a good team. Tough scrappy game just like I said it would be. Evadale was finally tested this year by a good H-D team, and they passed the test. Looks like back to back District titles for the Rebs. Also it was good to meet yall Big Mo and 83, yall share the same passion I have for my team. H-D keep working hard and remember yall can still make the playoffs. Bobcats we have tons of young talent coming up for the next 5 or 6 years. Kids like the 8th grade QB "Spot" they call him. Next year kids like Garrett Hickman and Micheal Tanner will move up to play with Tyler Drake and Chris Taylor two freshman already on Varsity. So Bobcats don't worry the District Championships will be coming back to H-D soon. I am glad Gilmore and Issac Humphrey will be back next year. Is Andrew Persley coming back? Andrew is a good player that works hard. Also the Hill kid is a tough smart player and a good cornerback. Go Bobcats !!

Man Evadale has an awesome football team full of well Coached talent, and so does H-D. I am not gonna say H-D by two or three TD's, because I know Evadale is too good for that to happen. So I will say it again, this will be a close low scoring game and which ever team has more heart and is tougher will win.

So the unskilled players from High Island didn't do much to you then. Wait, they were in the whole game from start to finish with your beloved Bobcats last week. So maybe you don't really have the best skilled players in the district. Or I'm just living in a dream world and completely misinterpreted the game that I saw! HI has a good team and probaly will make the playoffs. HI is very well Coached and has some good players with good size. #20 is right there with Gilmore and Nichols as far as talent.

Colmesneil is the biggest school in District by enrollment, and it is only a matter of time before they start fielding good teams on friday nights. I think it is between Colmesneil and HI for the 3rd playoff spot this year. H-D and Evadale being the first two.

Guess we will see if Evadale is the super hero team yall say they are friday night. Bobcats that are reading this and are playing friday night, yall should be fired up. The Rebs have a great Coach and good players, but so does H-D. The pre-season games were just a warm up, District is what counts. H-D has always had a great track record when it comes to District. I know H-D has more skilled football players than anyone in District, the question is whether H-D is tougher and does H-D have more heart than the Rebs. We will see friday night. Can the Rebs go 2-12 all time vs H-D? Opposed to 1-13.

Good point Yeller. Fair enough. Don't forget the Bray kid played against us and not yall. Also we lost on an over time field goal. Last year Bray was voted 2nd best football prospect in SE Texas behind Jeremiah Johnson.

HI has a great Coach that makes great play calls. #20 for HI is cold-blooded !!! If HI can get #20 THE BALL THEY WILL ONLY LOSE TO H-D and Evadale and make the playoffs. They are better than WH and maybe Colmesneil.

For the record it's not H-D people talking about Keith Gilmore. It's jealous and scared players from other teams talking about Gilmore. Just read the posts and you can tell. When people dog on a player they are jealous.

Keith is just a junior too. please the best in district i happen to think Nichols from Evadale is the all around best player in our district Keith Gilmore is hands down the best linebacker in District. Gilmore is a Beast when he gets to carry the ball. Gilmore is way under used at runningback !!! When he touches the ball, he averages 7 or 8 yards a carry. We always seem to get away from him for some reason. ??? I do agree Nichols is a good player, Gilmore and Nichols are the best two by far.

Evadale has a very well Coached football team, they also have some good football players. H-D has lost four of their best players this year. We lost our QB Huckaby to Orangefield, WR Fontenot to Liberty, Tim Taylor to injury and Brian Dempsey to injury. Losing four of your best players would hurt a 3A team, much less a 1A team. With all that being said, this game will be a dog fight for the District Championship. H-D 14 Evadale 13

Good job Bobcats !!! But I have got to say HI is a tough scrappy team lead by #20 their best player. Tonight the Bobcat offense had some big explosive plays mostly coming from Jacolby Humphrey and Keith Gilmore. The freshman and recently moved up to Varsity Tyler Drake played a great game. Drake looked and played like an upper classman. The Bobcat defense swarmed to the ball all night, lead by Andrew Persley, Andy Tanner and Keith Gilmore. I was very impressed with the toughness of Keith Gilmore playing with a stinger most of the night. Great job to all our players and Coaches !!! That wildcat offense looked good tonight Coach !!! Proud of you Cats for fighting through all the injuries and hardships. Now lets have a great week of practice and be ready to play a good Evadale team next week.
