Colmesneil 59 High Island 52 Was a very exciting game to watch tonight, Both teams fought hard through out the entire game. High Island has improved so much from last year. Keep up the great work ladies.

High Island 48 Legacy 38 High Island had a twenty point lead in the 4th quarter, and bench players went in. Not as close as score indicates. But a great job by the Lady Cards, they are 1 - 0 to start the season.

Should be a real good game. With the momentum that the Cardinals built up last weekend against Burkeville, I think that it will carry over to this weekend. Plus they get to play at home. The Cardinals shouldn't listen to any of the negative remarks made about them on here, or just use it for motivation to prove every naysayer wrong!

Heard that they will play home games on Saturday afternoons, and will play them in High Island. All road games will be on Friday nights.

To H-D Bobcat 55, guess you don't remember back in the early 80's when Mt. Saint Helen erupted in Washington State. It nearly wiped out an entire town, yet the people returned and rebuilt. Or maybe you weren't born yet, go and check it out and eat your words. Give the people down there some credit, they want to stay and rebuild. Wouldn't you if you were in the same situation as they are!

Heard that High Island stadium has lost lights for the second year in a row on the home side. Also heard their bus barn was messed up. But word is they want to try to play. That pennisula though suffered a huge loss. Homes destroyed and those people will probably not be able to recognize home when they return. Heard though that the school looks at reopening in about 2-4 weeks.
