Remember early in the season we played Kelly and won a tight game 14-10 to start the year that lead me to believe we were not going to be as good as I thought then we started rolling. Then we played Silsbee in the first round and squeezed by them 17-10 at Port Arthur stadium. That's something we can join together on. Go Stros. I have nothing but respect for the Pirates. Coach Matthews is a dying breed of coach. I have a great respect for him and what Vidor's teams have come to represent. Vidor is a town that has a history and Coach Matthews has rid any semblance of that from the school and program and helps raise some great kids by teaching them the way things should be and not what this towns history would try and suggest. Hats off to coach Matthews and his wonderful leadership of young men.

I love Joaquin I have family that graduated from there and Shelbyville. We own land just out of Shelbyville and I try and catch a game or two a year up there. SO awesome for Joaquin. They have had a couple of good teams in the past...

If anyone would have it would have been PAM providing its not self inflicted...... PNG has a special group of players this season. The speed for a PNG team is unreal

PNG did exactly what it took to win the game and walked away victorius PAM just wasn't quite there last night they were very close to making the come back but just could not pull it off. Yes you are right and yes I saw a couple of game tapes on PAM. I, however, do not believe it to be a fair comparison to lump Nederland and PN-Gs offenses together. Two very different offenses. PNG has played a half a game every week. Trying to runout the clock from the half every week the entire season.
