  1. Man you could not have missed that anymore than you did. This comment is like shooting a deer rifle at a deer and hitting a squirrel
  2. I forgot about Keith Waguespack he was one hell of a kicker. Come to think of it all of PNG's teams I witnessed go to the quarterfinals or better had great kickers. Keith was an all American for PN-G as a kicker and went on to kick for Texas A&M. He was a special player
  3. The mighty 1989 PN-G Indian quarterfinalist. Featuring Ron McGill, Bryan Bost, Shane the man Droddy, and many other great athletes.
  4. Though I am sad that those wonderful historic programs were shut down I and all PNG fans are happy and thankful for your family being Indians now. I talk of those schools at work all the time. So much tradition and history closed down. Think about all of those basketball teams from Lincoln. All those teams from TJ in multiple sports that were stellar. SFA even threw a couple of great seasons and some awesome sports player. Those schools were truly historic and were a great loss to our area's history. I often wonder how the landscape would have been changed had they not been consolidated. I remember some great games against two of those schools.
  5. WHen typing respect use a capital R...LOL
  6. Yes WOS is the best with Newton next. After that, it could be a few teams depending on your parameters. Last 20 years I'd go with Nederland and Dayton. Last 10 years maybe Crosby. There is just no one close to WOS. Newton is on another level than most here in SETX but still not close to the Stangs. If someone out there has not come to respect WOS for who they are then they have a totally blind eye to the situation. Hats off to WOS and it is well deserved....now I wish my Indians could get them back on the schedule. Very few teams in SETX get you ready for what the playoffs look like better than WOS
  7. prayers for the family. Indian Ken loved the kids
  8. . I was somewhat knowledgeable with some of the smaller school stuff but not all. Just have to look at it like a fantasy football team you may hate the Giants if you are a Cowboys fan, but if you want to win you will draft Beckam. Same apply's Just know it's your reputation as a voter on the line instead of 60 bucks....I have learned so much about small school football and even a touch of 6 man. Voting has been good to me.
  9. After a few seasons, you will learn to study the smaller school and even may become a fan of one here or there. Like I have become a fan of Shelbyville and a couple of others.
  10. Fall is on the way...... That means one thing........
  11. I know we all love highschool football or you probably would not be on here. This folks is what its all about the kiddos. COngrats to this young man..... WHat an honor.
  12. Yea thats not correct at all on the PNG football
  13. There will be a parade to celebrate PNG's historic season. Every one is invited. Please come out and congratulate Coach Carter and the young men who were able to Win the championship. Once again the support from SETX was incredible thanks to all of you.
  14. I believe this may be PNG's first?????
  15. To add to that PN-G just graduated its most successful athletics class in our entire history dating back 92 years. Our sports teams won more district championships and playoff wins than any other in our history. Not 100% but believe it to be 8 district championships. Cannot remember the number of playoff wins but it was a very large number. This capped off by the baseball SC and number 12 national ranking as well as #1 baseball team in Texas. The most important stat of all ( I know you will appreciate this Grad) The largest amount of scholarships ever given at PNG 4.8 million dollars this year. The 2017 class if PNG is the most successful ever.
