What's amazing to me is that PNG fans are so blind to how bad of fans they are. All I ever hear about is pride and tradition but as soon as things go bad like last year it looks like the trail of tears at half time. As far as tradition goes I really don't get it. Y'all change coaches, uniforms and especially helmet stickers as much as a girl on the rag. PNG has pride when things are good and tradition doesn't exist so with that said they aren't gonna make the playoffs and their AD will have a new name next year
take it from a former bulldog grad, until you are part of it you don't understand. It is bigger than a football team, it is taking pride and ownership of your community. Don't know where you are from but why the hell does pride honor tradition bother you so bad. Get over it and get a little pride in whatever community you are part of.
I think what bothers people is that some PNG fans believe that they have the market cornered on honor, pride and tradition. I'm a lifelong Bulldog and even I have a great deal of respect for PNG, but there is certainly an elitist attitude about the fandom over there at times. Over the past 15 plus years Nederland has had the same coach, uniforms, traditions and better winning percentage. The difference is that it isn't shoved in everyone's face like it is by our Mid County neighbors. Y'all are no different than any other community when the program struggles, as evidenced by last year. With that said, if / when there is a drop off in Nederland's program I fully expect the fans here to get restless as well.
Like someone posted earlier there are fans from ALL teams who are not the greatest and I guess you would call elitist I know several from both sides of the tracks. -

You are lacking a certain ability to not hate because you can't stand for PNG to do well. You hate it We get it but it makes you look like a very jealous little kid when you say stupid things like that -

I guess no one has ever told him hating is bad...... TC will be an extremely tough match up for us. They have 2 UT commits on their team and they are loaded at most positions. This will be a great opportunity to see how our young team handles the pressure a top 10 ranked team will throw at you. Looking forward to reading about this one will miss it due to work -
What do you think about this one?

PN-G vs Hampshire Fannet

Few things of note. First off HF....... Kendrick King and Austin can both flatout run the ball. These kids will be pretty darn special next year and King the following. With next seasons realignment and the Horns going into the smaller district I see them being successful next year. They have a huge tight end about 6'4" and atleast 230-240 who is also a soph. They have a young team with a bright future. The horns would do there team well if they would put in some kind of option read with King and Austin because if the could give a little misdirection to the defense those to would get the yards. The Indians...... Rose will be a stud this year in 20-4a he is the real deal. Walker is a heck of an athelete but had issues on more than one occasion seeing over the line. He will be a solid QB..........Morse young and can flat out play. He plays well above his age and after a couple of incompletions he was dead on the rest of the game. Morse took full advantage of his time on the field. After tonight Im not sold on who the starting qb should be. The defense for PNG was very quick to the ball every play. PNG will be decent this season. We will see more after next weeks game against the #10 ranked Texas City. It was a good night because there were no injuries on either side that I seen -
PNG wins this one.
