1964 Vidor Pirates played in the Semi-Finals and tied the game and lost on penetrations.

First off this is not the time for any negative comments this is the 2nd best team in Vidor history I believe and they deserve all the praise they can get. I love to see Vidor doing so well the town needs this. Vidor has shown a unwavering loyalty to coach Matthews and his style of football but more importantly his morals and ethics. I believe Vidor fans are as good a they come when supporting there kids and have as much pride for there school as any. So ride this proud football team all the way and this PNG Indian will be sitting with you this next weekend watching and cheering with you. Lets Get Em PIRATES!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got back from the Vet program at Oak Bluff cemetery in Port Neches it was a very moving experience. Met some wonderful WWII, Korean, Vietnam and Gulf War Vets. The speaker made a George Bush Quote "America will NEVER ask for a permission slip to defend our Country abroad" thought that was pretty cool.

He is right BH fans do show up and take there crow.

Congrats VIDOR on a well deserved win for a great team with some great fans. Vidor is going were there team has not been in many years. Very happy for the program and the school and fans.
