First off hello all been out of town just got back.......Png will have a tough time stopping Livingstons offense. Now here is my thoughts for you out there who care to read it. PNG played TC 2 weeks ago and gave up alot of rushing yards. Png starting D-Lineman J Davis was out he is the heart and soul of the front seven. Png is a much better defense with him he left in the second half of the Crosby game that we lost. Here is the keys to win. Force the outside to the inside on the runs cover that one tightend drag that they scored on us two or three times last season on. They will score just gonna have to bend but dont break some drives. I truly believe Png offensivly will do fine. I like the idea of heavy dose of Bertrand to counter what they do on offense. Its anyones game but this feels like one of them trap games. Best of luck to Livingston here is to noo injuries.

Mine is when two teams who are supposed to be on a similar level of play and one dominates the other. BH beating Dewyville does not impress me at all. When a team who beats someone by 70 points in a semi-final game now thats the kind of game I consider a blowout. 1992 Waxahacie coached by one Thomas Brooks won in the semi finals 70-7 I believe inroute to the 1992 state championship were they defeated A&M Consoladated. That to me is a blowout.
Barbers Hill and Dewyville were both 1A .Dewyville would smash BH in basketball and run up the score, then in football BH would do the same to them. These schools were on the same level back then. You just want to talk down on Barbers Hill cause you know BH has a better team than PNG this year.
It has nothing to do with who is better it is the fact that you played a school who at that time you should have beat 125-0 so its not impressive to beat them by any number. When your third string is better and dominates there 1st string what that says to me is nothing. As far as who is better this year its hard to say we will see how you feel if Big Ned puts it on you tonight. You have lost to PNG 4 times in two years so as far as Im concerned thats what I have to go by for now.

I was hoping for one a little closer and teams more familiar but there is certainly some good ones to see. I am kind of torn between PNG JV and Obama's speech.
Yeah, that was kinda why my first response was how far you wanted to drive. Most Thursday night varsity games are in the large metro areas that have 5 or more schools in the school district (Houston ISD, Katy, Fort Bend, Spring Branch, Cy-Fair, Dallas, Austin, etc.). I'd go with the PN-G JV game if I were you.....I have a feeling Obama will have me throwing things at my TV.
I would have to buy a new TV if I were to watch the presidential speech.
Why did the NFL schedule their opening game on a high school game night? Couldn't the NFL waited till Sunday to start all their games? Very true The reasons you see high school games on Thursdays is because of stadium availability. All the inner city schools of metro areas (Houston, DFW, ect.) share stadiums. Livingston plays Houston Washington, who shares a stadium with 6 other schools. NFL should be ashamed of themselves for intruding on high school football.
The NFL is and will be a lot of things - but they will NEVER be ashamed of themselves. $$$$$$$ ;)
Its very nice for say military people to listen to the games all over the world I know a couple who get up in the middle of the night to listen to some of the PNG games

Last year Santa Fe and Lumberton were both alot better than this year. Nederland is alot better this year than last remember all the preseason injuries they had leading up to this game. BH is better than last season but I dont think its enough.

BH's plays there first team this year who isnt down. Ill go with Nederland.
