Although I have a great deal of respect for Dayton Ill go with Nederland they are good at winning crucial games. Dayton has a good team this year but I think Nederland may win this one

In 2000 I was up in Oregon working in Eugene. We were staying in a Hawthorn Inn and Suits on the corner of Autzen stadium. Wich is home stadium for the Oregon Ducks. One evening after work we were invited to go watch the Oregon High school football championship games. They were playing 4 games that day. As we sat there I noticed how there were maybe 800 to 1000 fans in the stands I told our host that back home in Port Neches we would have 5000 - 12000 at home games and that the year before we had nearly 40000 in the Astrodome for the state title match. They had trouble swallowing that. So my memories from the Rez are many but the greatest part of our home stadium is the people that make it home that make up our spirit our tradition and what is our way of football. I will miss this stadium but I know that everything else that makes it so wonderful will be there each and every Friday night at our new home. Good Luck Indians Sorry for running on with my post

I am not sure about Dayton's playoff streak but I know that Nederlands playoff streak has happened for a reason and at the root of that is coach Neuman. He has always found a way to get Nederland into the playoffs. Nederland will face a very good football team in Dayton this week so who knows. I think that Nederland will be hard to beat at home this late in the season. Good luck to both teams. Go Indians

If PN-G does not make it I will always support our cross town rivals Nederland well I do even if we make it as long as we do not play on the same night or time

Gotta love them Indians fans there so great My favorite is the dome with many double headers with the ole Nederland Bulldogs god what great memories PS I here PN-G and Nederland have some fine teams playing through in the next 3 or 4 years

Kelly's coach Mike Long is a good one. I hope if Matt decides to retire one day we get him at PN-G

The best is going to be right here in Port Neches next year

My humble opinion is that Nederland is a winning program and a winning team. They are the most proven winners in our district. I have to go with them at this point over Lumberton But I would not rule you guys out from winning. I like your chances of making the playoffs. I want you to make the playoffs your school deserves to go. I wish you the best of luck. Go Indians

Port Neches Groves was Painted with the words Dayton 50 PN-G 0 and there were some obsenities with it. It would seem as if it were to far for someone from Dayton to drive here for that, but someone I know said we hosted them in Volleyball this week. Also a fire fighter from Port Neches said to Lumberton residence were arrested last night painting something else about a Train Im not sure what. Wonder if Dayton was set up or if someone from there did it? Some people are so childish.

Good game Lumberton I believe the best team one however you guys have a good team and nothing to hang your head about. Ill quote a friend of mine from work who is a Nederland fan and also talks on here, "I don't mind losing as bad if we lose to a better team" You have a great team and goodluck on the rest of the season

I have put up with a lot of trash talk this week at work from the Lumberton fans. First of all I would like to say that you played a fine football game. I think you will make the playoffs and will represent our district well in the playoffs. I will supprt you if we are not playing the same night. First of all congrats to Lumberton hope you continue to do well after this game. PN-G is a really sound football team this year. So is your Raiders. I like what cherokee has said about this being the biggest game of Lumbertons football program. It may have a bigger one later but for now this is as big as it has been. PN-G has been here time and time again. We understand were you are this week and for the next several weeks were you will be as fans of a winning program. Remember we as fans of Mid County Schools will be your biggest supporters if you make the playoffs I for one will be there if we are not playing at the same time.
