Hats off Dayton. Its been a long time coming. I have always believed that Nederland and Dayton having winning programs is good for our area. The tougher the district the better the playoffs teams will be. Best of luck to both teams.

Nederland wins this game

I agree I always notice that you are constantly after Nederland. AS an Indian fan Its hard for me to understand why you never have a positive thing to say about a bunch of 15-18 year old kiddos. I often wonder myself why you have such a disdain for the Dogs.

Last seasons and this years current QB threw for 3000+ yards under Coach FC.

I couldn't imagine what Coach Faircloths system would do offensively at WOS with all that speed. They might score 60 points a game and 500 yards. I often wondered what it would look like with him at the helm of a school with speed. Most may not know this but Faircloth came to PNG as the offensive coordinator at Odessa Permian. As the OC each season he broke all of their offensive records. Put that in your mind as to all of the great teams OP has had through the years. He is a true offensive guru. I wouldn't be surprised to see him coaching in some capacity on Saturdays in the future. One of his greatest attributes is his ability to develop quarterbacks where there were none before. Ask the Morse family, the Bost family, The Johnson family, the Doty Family, The Crippen family and so on. These kids became record breakers at PNG under Faircloth. I love our new coaching staff. They are the real deal. We were lucky to get the caliber of coaches we have. Ill always appreciate the 13 years we had with Coach Faircloth.

Coach Faircloth has lead SS to a 4-1 record beating Liberty-Eylau 24-6. Liberty-Eulau was ranked 15th in 4a d2. Coach Faircloth took over a SS team that was 0-10 last season. Before tonight's game SS was ranked #21 in 4a d1. His only loss this season coming at the hands of Hallsville a 5a d2 ranked #20 school. That loss was 34-21. SS hadn't won back to back games since 2018. I believe they had only won 4 games since 2018. This is a great example of the difference a great coach can make.

Congrats Bulldogs. Great win tonight. Only able to see a few highlights looks like that huge o line pushed some people around. Sounds like the Dogs are starting to put it together. -
I ask for know crow but "You can break it down however you want, algebraically, long division, short division show your work wishingly hoping whatever, not gonna happen." Thats very funny and intuitive even if it was off a little. I will always respect WOS with a win or one of the many losses by PNG I respect you guys alll the way. Hats off to you and your program. Its been one that only other teams like PNG and most others could dream off. Hats off to you guys and continue to develop and become what is possible. Ill be a fan of you guys the rest of the way

Port Neches-Groves (27) @ West Orange-Stark (6) - FINAL
prepballfan replied to jdawg03's topic in High School Football
WOS has something that many here are forgetting. It's called genetics. They and Newton have some of the best athletic genes in this area. They will always be competitive. They have earned the title of best team in the area and it would take a long time to take that away. This is just a game with a new coach and a new system. As I said before this is the team of the last however long you wanna go back no single game will take that away. -
