  1. I don't see anything funny about it. I graduated from Lumberton and have a daughter that attends West Brook. I take photos for most West Brook sports. I have watched both teams play this year and just simply giving my thoughts. Brook plays on Thursday this week. So I will also be on the sidelines for this game. BTW, You have to include the punter when talking about kickers. I believe Ozen had a few problems punting this year. I guess we will see what happens on Friday.
  2. I agree they have some talent, they did make some plays against WB. But I feel that as a group every game, every play L-Town has the advantage.
  3. I'll give to ya on the kicker. So 3-3 TIE Yea I was right all along
  4. I guess I was wrong
  5. There's no way Lumberton has as much talent as Ozen. They do use what they have better though. Ok let's break it down: QB= Lumberton RB =Ozen WR=Lumberton OL/DL= ? tie LB= Lumberton DB= Ozen Kicker= Lumberton Looks like 4-2 to me
  6. I have seen both teams in action this year. Lumberton's D vs. Ozen's O = Lumberton easily. Ozen's D vs. Lumberton's O = Lumberton (More disciplined) Special Teams = Lumberton (Ozen is sloppy) Talent = Tie Speed = Ozen Team Chemistry = Lumberton Coaching = Lumberton Band = Ozen easily The Verdict: Lumberton by 14
  7. www.exclusiveimaging.net Go check em out.
  8. I was thinking behind the new complex was for us photographers. Wow, the new lights should be awesome. :D ;D
  9. It was actually 4 touchdowns in one game. Shhh. and so did I. But I will never sell shoes to overweight women.
  10. I will be shooting on the sidelines rooting for the Bruins. WB needs to concentrate on executing the game plan. Take advantage of a couple of opportunities and this could be a good game. One thing is for certain, if any of the kids read this board they might as well stay home. I might be reaching a little, but it sure would be nice to see a little more support for the Bruins. Whether they win or lose at least they know the community has their backs.
  11. Short routes (curls, outs, & hitches) are mostly technique and repetition. 1.Run the correct route 2. catch the ball w/ your hands not your body. 3. Tuck the ball 4. Then get up the field. Long routes (Fly, post, and flags) This one is pure concentration. As a receiver you have to be able to separate from the defender, execute the route, adjust to the ball, look over your shoulder, decide if you need to jump or dive, speed up or slow down, tune out the GASP in the crowd and excitement and andrenaline running through your veins. All of this while sprinting and having DB's trying to knock your head off and being willing to completely sacrifice your body. I guess its not that hard at all. ??? ;D
  12. I realize that and completely agree with ya. The same can be said about every other post on the forum, but it sure feels good to vent a little.
  13. I not convinced that he crossed the goal line. However they ruled it a fumble and Eisenhower recovered it. I'm pretty sure that at this point in the game WB would have scored on the next play. They were moving the ball pretty easily on this drive. My point is that without a doubt he is laying on the ground with possession of the ball. In defense of the refs, they do not have the benefit of having a zoom lens and LCD display. But it still sucks.
  14. No this was going in for 6 points.
  15. I know they can't get every call right. But calling this a fumble on the goaline in a 2 point game is hard to accept.
  16. What stadium are they playing in?
  17. Darn it. I meant to Photoshop that one. :-\ :
  18. lol. He was just keeping him from falling to the ground. BTW Look at the rest of the pics where WB opened holes big enough to drive half of their school buses through.

  20. I uploaded shots from the game on my site. www.exclusiveimaging.net WB defense looked good, they gave the Ozen QB a few pretty good licks. This game could have easily ended up being 66-0 without a drop and penalties bringing back TD's
  21. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
  22. Just my opinion on coaching. the head coach can really make a difference for a year or two. But to change direction of a program your staff from 7th grade up, must believe in the concept. A great coach trains his assistants to take his place. Coaches like anyone else strive to move forward with their career. L-Town fans should be proud that their coach is being recruited and have faith that he has prepared his staff to continue his success. There are a couple of young coaches in Lumberton that were winners back in their playing days and should fall right into place. L-Town has the most support I have seen in the last 25 years or so. I don't see the results declining if coach C decides to take advantage of an opportunity that comes his way. He has done a GREAT job and he deserves to rewarded one way or another. The good thing is that he is in a postion to CHOOSE his "Happy Place". If we could all be so fortunate. ??? > :(
  23. This is probably the best headline I ever saw for high school football. I played football for Ottawa Univ. in Kansas and two local high schools battled one Friday night. West Seaman Devils ( I Think) and the "Can't remember" TROJANS. Anyway the headline the next morning read: "Seaman rips through Trojan Defense." ;D You know the editor had a smile on his face for quite a while. Here's my try. Bruins whip the dickens out of Dickenson.
  24. thats like saying look for the bruins to run the ball with c-mike...its a given Yea your right. How about a few more than usual. ;D
