  1. [Hidden Content] ENOUGH Said!!!!!!! #4 RB in the FRICKIN Country. ??? : Obviously#1 in our area people. We always have great talent in our area, but this year the RB position belongs to C-Mike. It is a shame we can't keep all of these guys here @ LU. That would be fun!!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
  2. The Brook by 18. Look for Ryan Grant to have some big catches in this one.
  3. How is this even a discussion? ??? C-Mike is #25 in Rival.com's top 100. No other names should be included. It's great to be proud of your team's back, but be realistic. And Michaels attitude has not been less than perfect all season on the sidelines. If you haven't seen this kid yet, you need to come to Baytown Saturday @ 1pm. He is the best all around back I have seen in a long time. And he makes it look easy. Don't believe me? Go check out the pics. www.exclusiveimaging.net
  4. Wow, It must be nice to make the playoffs w/ 3-4 District record and 4-5 on the season. Back when I played we went 8-2 and 5-2 in district and were left sitting at home. I hope the Bruins got all of the bugs out last week. I really want to see a deep run into this year's playoffs.
  5. It's GAMEDAY Bruins!! Is it 5:00 yet? I hope all the Brook fans make the trip, if you need a ride let me know. ;D :'( :
  6. I have to say after being on the sildelines while shooting these kids, I am very impressed with the character that all of the Bruins show. Everyone of them is extremely respectful and courtious even during the game. It is very refreshing to see great young athletes who do not mimic their (Pro) mentors. Can't wait to see the Bruins rise to the occassion Friday night!!!!!!!!!!
  7. For all of the WB fans, I will be shooting this game and posting them on my website. www.exclusiveimaging.net Make sure to check them out. I had to miss the Channelview game, but there are some pics from the Central game already posted. BTW WB is on a roll NOW, why waste your time trying to bash them for their play in the past. Go out and support our local teams. we all love great football, especially S.E. Texas football. Christine Michael is one of the country's top runningbacks, how can you not be excited about the Bruins?
  8. Great post BigBlue. The big picture is this guys. Over the last 20 years, Lumberton has done away with the notion that the Raiders will be an easy victory. Through the years we have turned out some talented athletes and have been very competitive in whatever district they put us in. This years team is fixing to raise the bar for future Raiders. I am sure guys from all of the past teams are proud to be part of creating a winning tradition. Now, let's get a taste of them playoffs!!!!!
  9. That was pretty darn strange. You should have felt very honored to have played with a living legend. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  10. BigHouse, I appreciate that. And I can definately see where you are coming from. But I could also attribute that to Newton's D. That was by far the hardest hitting team I've ever played against. They were certainly the hungrier TEAM in the 4th quarter. They have been there many times in the big game and pushed into an extra gear. I hope the same thing doesn't happen to these guys. Nederland will be playing all 4 quarters. If we do the same, we should be pulling down the goalpost.
  11. Wow, NO Heart Bighouse??????? Did you see the same game in Newton Yea the 132lb. WR got drilled about 5 or 6 times, knocked smooth out once busted up his knee and managed to play both ways the rest of the game and finish with over 140 yds. Probably the same guy who scored 3 touchdowns in a game in college with a shattered hand and never missed a play. Also the Tal Light played most of the season with dislocated shoulders. Say what you want about your favorite team, but you better know what you are talking about before questioning a teams heart.. Nobody has said anything but great things about this years team.
  12. WEll said Head, by the way did you like the Gunslinger comment?
  13. As to the Redneck comment...... I have watched these boys play since they were in freshmen. I want nothing more than for them to go deep in the playoffs. Nobody who is a true Raider will deny them what they deserve. But it shows a lack of pride in a town when you and your teammates can have the best record the school has ever had and be completely forgotten. And V you are amazing trash talking your own fans..
  14. Verde was great leader but a little bit of a gunslinger. Perkins was more mobile but more methodical in his approach to the game.
  15. 2 different QB's Ryan Verde(91) and Ryan Perkins(92)
  16. The 91 and 92 teams were pretty even. Both had the ability to run or pass on any given night. Both had hard hitting stingy defenses. 91 team had best defense in the district until facing HF ( Who had the best offense statistically in the history of the state. 2 players who went on to the NFL.) 92 Team was a lot like this years team. Bruising runningback Tal Light. Talented Receivers, Good coaching, Hard hitting defense. And 2 fastest guys in L-Town's history on defense. For this reason, I give nod to early 90's. It's was really hard to be 15-5 and not see playoff action. I am excited for this years team. Watching WB clinch district title Friday was amazing.
  17. Wow, How quickly people forget about the Class of '92 going 8-2.
  18. It's been 16 years since the Raiders had a team that had a real chance of competing for a district championship. (8-2) It looks like this years Raiders are focused and determined. As long as they continue to take care of business, Lumberton will have its first banner.
