  2. yup, like i said earlier this district is wide open.
  3. i say PN-G still makes the playoffs. it was a shocker that lc-m beat pn-g so bad. 42-0  i do believe that lc-m is an improved team this year. in the game against wos they looked like they had some potential to be a good team. imo the key for png is to beat nederland and then take it one game at a time and do not overlook any of their opponents, of course that's easier said then done. the playoff race in that district is wide open.
  4. thanks Diva
  5. i thought that lc-m was an improved team. pn-g was talking way too much this week. the way some pn-g fans were talking you would have thought they had already won the district championship. i think they still have a shot a winning district but maybe this game will teach them not to be so overconfident. i can't believe i'm going to say this but good job bears. great win tonight! 8)
  6. it would be nice if they had local talent on the team. however i think it's more important that they have a winning program, regardless of where the players are from.
  7. of course i'm going to say wos uniforms are the best, the blue and silver make a good combination. and i think are helmets are one of the most recognizable helmets in the state. we've had the same logo on the helmets for 20 straight years. we went to the flying wos logo in 1986 our first year in 4A.
  8. i can't speak for other fans, but i'm not counting kirbyville out of anything. it's going to be a good game, and both teams are going to play hard. kirbyville is one of the favorites to make the playoffs in our district.
  9. i agree, also everytime i watch the high school football statewide show late on friday night i see a lot of schools with turf. for some reason turf hasn't caught on in southeast texas and i find that interesting.
  10. i think turf would be a nice addition to any stadium. i know everyone is worried about maintence and cost, naturally those are things that have to be accounted for. however being a former student from a school that puts a emphasis on the success of football i would always like our football facilities to be top notch. our stadium is not all that new, but i think turf would make it look more modern. for example dayton's stadium in my opinion is not the fanciest stadium in the world. it is however a nice stadium and that beautiful bright green artificial turf adds an extra special touch and gives it a modern look.
  11. who didn't see that coming?
  12. i liked dayton's stadium, i was comfortable and the field was very nice. i have to say though that last week in Hamshire Fannett stadium it was a bit tight. i wish their visitor stands would have been the same size as their home stands. i'm a pretty big guy and my friends were having fun with me saying i was a 5A size guy trying to fit in a 3A size stadium i thought it was funny.
