  1. vidor may come out a bit flat in the first quarter because of their emotional win over nederland. but once things settle down i think vidor will come out with the victory. lumberton needs to regroup quickly or it could get out of hand. coach credeur is a good coach though, and i'm sure he'll have them ready. Vidor 28 Lumberton 17
  2. good job pirates, that first district game is critical. you guys put yourself in a real good position.
  3. do you honestly think that would have made a difference?
  4. Pedro Martinez is going to miss entire post season for the mets. he has a torn calf muscle.
  5. i got a feeling this one might be closer than people think. i thought lc-m looked like they had improved some this year.
  6. i take full responsibility for him losing the no hitter.
  7. we will have our hands full with kirbyville. i saw them on tv the other day and they look focused and hungry. should be a good game. 8)
  8. he just gave up his first hit of the night
  9. there's one out in the bottom of the ninth for orioles cabrera. he's got a no hitter going
  10. i really don't think it matters, we were the Div I rep last year and went to the semi-finals. i figure that silsbee makes the playoffs this year so it does appear, if we make the playoffs, that we would be the D II rep this year. another reason i say it doesn't matter much is that both D I and D II have a lot of great football teams.

  15. i think this game will be close. it's a district game so you have to expect the intensity from both teams to be very high. i'll go with the orange county school  Bridge City 24 Hardin Jefferson 21
  16. i'm a superstitious person and will not make a prediction for any mustang football game. however i will say this, we can't take hamshire fannett lightly. i think it was in 2004 HF came to west orange and got after us real early. i want to say it was 14-0 or something like that. HF put together a pretty good drive for a score and then scored another TD on special teams. so we can expect it to be a battle. hopefully we took advantage of the bye week and got some guys healed up. even though bay city is winless they were extremely physical and gave us a good run for the money. on a lighter note this will be my first trip to Hamshire Fannett stadium and i'm looking forward to a good game and good food. i want to try those famous boudain balls i keep hearing about.
