  8. Kenneth Deon Beasley. it's amazing that a school with so many good football players, beasley really does stand above the rest. He was incredible.

  10. in 1987 quentin tezeno threw a block on a rockwall defender in the state championship game. the guy was going to tackle tremaine lewis but tezeno came in from the blind-side and leveled the defender. speaking of that game, can anyone remember what famous high school coach was an assistant on the rockwall coaching staff in 1987? answer is Southlake Carroll's Todd Dodge. 8)
  11. i think the people would support LU football if they were a winner. in this day no one wants to see a losing team. It might help if LU tried to get a local coach, say Larry Neuman who knows the area and is from a respectable local football program. Fans want to have something they can be proud of. Naturally it would be a slow process, but at first since there has been no LU football for almost 20 years i think fans would be supportive. but once the new wears off they must be a winning program, with that i mean making the playoffs on a yearly basis. it's like a phrase i heard years ago, to be successful you can't be in the business of losing.
  12. Sammy Sosa in 2000. i saw him hit a double and home run that night. what really stood out was how relaxed he looked in the batter's box and during the whole game he always seemed as though he was in control. a true professional.
  13. what day is that game?

  15. i saw the kids run stands yesterday. they all did a pretty good job. the stands were very slick yesterday because of the rain so they had to be careful. but everybody looked ready for football. 8)
