Actually, I believe there are a few coaches that post on here....Fact is Barrack, you know some basketball, but I think there are others on here that know some too....This is a great site and a good way to kill time and manage a good laugh on occasion. Lets keep this less personal, show some humility and take others opinion with a grain of salt. I think if we do that, this site will be alot more beneficial to all...Afterall, talking hoops is high on my list of priorities!!!!

Sure weren't above to many people last year, at the end of lupa. Wait wait, my bad, i remember about this time last year how u where above everyone else when u first arrived at lupa. Look at me, i am a college coach, wait till u see all the talent i am bringing in to the area. Well dam i waited and it sucked.

I slept on Livingston one time and that was last year and you see how that turned out. I respect livingston, but my point is if you couldn't stop Livingston's running game, you sure in the heck ain't stopping Vidors. You will need to rely on miscues or turnovers and you must capitalize off of it in order to get past the Pirates... I defiantly dont see vidor stopping lumberton either. And since vidor is coming off such a huge game ageist the jags, i believe vidor will be the team that is going be worn out in the 4th q. This is where playing the weak non-district may hurt vidor. They have not had to try and heal up from an opp. such as central, and prepare for an opp. such as lumberton yet. I think this will hurt the pirates, and lumberton takes the win.

I bet lumbertons offensive scouts where licking their chops about facing vidor d. The sure looked like they had big smiles on their faces, almost like it was Christmas night

If they play defense like they did agaist central they may not win many more either

all parents will have tickets if they choose to. The football players parents are usually given first choice of to buy tickets, for all road games.

Soulja that is just 1 of many to come from the vidor fans. I am sure u already know this though, it is never their fault, blame always has to fall elsewhere in vtown, when things don't go their way. I cant wait to hear more excuses as the day goes on, and then especially after the game.

Talent??? 2nd best guard in the last 8 years are so... in the area...Its just sad that the first thing somebody said was "Im not talking about his attitude". High school and done? Possibly.. Like ive said before ..talent will only get you so far!!!

Nope, Didnt think Tark could coach, wasnt consistent enough at winning we he diddnt have dominant teams...Also agree he got upset vs Duke, heck of a team, but a better coach got him..Will agree with WHS on the schedule, you inherit a schedule and get out of games early maybe if the coach prior to made it near possible to win, but this late, you suck it up...Dickie V wish you all the luck this year on getting that state championship. The playing COURT is even ..privates vs privates...Rules are the same!!!Good Luck.

Yes the Legacys and Kellys, the St. Pius and the St. Thomas, The ???? and ??? are all coming to the U.I.L. to take over...The Humble Christian Academys , The Strakes and Dickie V's are really going to be good guys..But the question is this: Does a coach feel good about himself and his team when they are winning games knowing that playing field is different. Heck most anyone can win with superior talent,BUT ITS NOT FULLFILLING....YOUR SUPPOSED TO..Really a lose lose situation...If you win, well, your supposed to with that team...If you lose...that guy cant coach a lick.....Doesnt sound like fun to me...Kinda like that ole AAU coach on the sideling smoking his cigar before the tip vs that little ole 4a program thats tryin to get better!!!! We'll play em all....

really it is what it is..if a kid attends school somewhere and he does not live in the district, who really knows..Most coaches dont go to their houses most assume they live in the district so they practice as if they will be there come November..Sometimes they look up, and their gone, caught by administration and sent back to their true home school...BUT, public schools in our area at least have district lines meaning you have to live within to play...This is the case of 95% of the school districts, all but except one here in our area. Is it an advantage, you bet..you can pick from whole lot more than the guy down the street or across the river...THATS WHEN ITS WRONG...BOTTOM LINE!... How do you fix it???

Oldref....Say what you want to say..I heard that was the beginning of the end...I will say this , I was tired of going to the lower level games and seeing one poor official on the floor, 2 coaches on the floor, or two refs doing a frsh, jv, and then a varsity game....Something had to give...Change is inevitable when things get that bad. Hopefully these officials can see the light so that it best serves the kids. Afterall, its about putting the best officials on the floor , and those are the ones that put the best interest of the kids first....bottom line...after that , everything else , the recognition, the money, the big game, the respect from peers , coaches, and players will come....Holla!
