Hard to determine discipline by color, but not to hard if one has observed both teams...B -Hill is more disciplined than Central, does not mean they will win...Central has better individual overall talent and pretty good coaching...Passion is also easy to observe if you know what it means..my observation on a team in our area called Ozen has maybe the best discipline around year in and year out, " The Theory" should not be an issue...The team that goes out and executes the best, plays the hardest, and plays the smartest usually wins. Still not a given...it's called BASKETBALL...and there are alot of factors involved.

Urban....Suburban... Basketball people want to see good basketball from kids who know how to act and play.... period. The former Jasper coach hit the nail on the head...Coaches need to teach lessons when called for...The Memorial situation is a sad one..The kid can play, but he has a responsiblity to his community, teammates, and coaches , first. Behave like you're supposed to and people want to come see you play, because by gosh the kid can go....Basketball, it's not an indivdual sport. If you can't act right it reflects on the others. Golf and tennis are different...individual, not basketball. Humble, unselfish, committed, hard working, are all traits great players have. Talent only gets you so far, and if the kid doesn't ever get it, the P.A. rec will end up being his destination...

they lost to lcm at lcm. lcm went 3-1 in bhill tourney, so i dont know how that is getting handled

Ozens finest wanted to say some bs at my answer, and about them barely making the playoffs. So i responed. I will take dugot and powell all day. With the surrounding talent they have, they have done a hell of a job. Remember they only played in district, no preseason

its called recruiting. But i have noticed that Rice worked a little harder than on this years freshman group. Central smoked ozen freshman by 25. also ned fresh and vidor fresh beat ozen This years fresh group for ozen was the worst group i have seen since ozen opened

Agree....Omar was the 5A player of the year...he was the best I've seen on the block at 6'5. He was surrounded by D 1's and if they needed a basket they knew who to get it to. One night in Baytown he went for 40 and 20 boards against 6'7 and 6'6 and fouled both of them out. Too strong and had alot of shi_ in his neck...Never thought he would be able to play on the peremiter at the next level, but proved me wrong....i wa the only one who could guard himmmmmmmmm

Wait...Wait a second...Kids in Beaumont can choose where they want to go to school??? What about the other teams in the district??? Don't they have boudaries ? Can a kid in our school zone go to Lumberton? How about the numbers for the particular area, does that effect the classification!! We sure would like to have Jonathan Ward over here...........

no i never said that. If u read my posts u will see i said, that Boutte does a great job. Like last year, to get ozen to state Boutte did a great job. He outcoached many coaches to get to state. Probally one of his best years. He has had many. All i was talking about in my last few posts was that one year.
