yea, ur rt Coach English did not know what he was doing when he moved those two freshman up as starters. Heck all this time we thought English was a good coach, but instead he was just messing around the upper classmen.

there is plenty of experience. Vidor has 3 returning starters. As far as the seniors, i am not sure. It seems like every other year they have a big group, and then a small group of seniors. Last year they had 6 on the team and if things hold true, they would have 10 seniors on the team next year. I know one kid failed, and then their senior pt quard quite once he came out after football. Alot of that had to due with his injuries from football

Point blank and simple.......he is just that good, that they are willing to take a chance on him. Of course when he gets there he will be competing agaist someone with egual talent, so he will either shape up, or ship out. The Tx. coaches will not allow him to keep that attitude. I look for them to correct it, and him to see plenty of min., starting next year.

no doubt they will get better as the season goes and the level of play comes back to them. what games where you talking about Ricthepic? I assume the ones at the ymbl, where they lost to Aldine 44-28, and new orleans walker by 40. Of course Aldine went on and won the whole tourney. In the ymbl vidor goes 1-2, while ozen goes 1-2. Vidor played the team that won it all.

i would take ozen, but give the coaching edge to hj staff

to become a good shooter you have to get out there and shoot, more than you ever could imagine. A coach can only help you so much, after that it is on the kids to work hard on his form.

silsbee is just that good.

of course they where a different caliber team. There may never be a team in this district that can beat ozen 3 times again. Remember that team when they where juniors started their junior year 5-15, before they learned how to win. This team does also feed the ball inside more than normal, or sims would not have had 23pts last night. It was not the 3 ball that killed them, it was the lack of effort on the defensive end.

ned beat bh by 2, and no ybarra did not play

silsbee lead the whole game by 8-10, it was the last four min, where silsbee failed to score more than a basket. Silsbee was taken wild shots at the end in stead of waiting for the best shot. Give kountze credit they finished the game hot, when it mattered the most.
