Exactly stick to being the AD and Head Football Coach and make that program the best of your ability baseball was in good hands to begin with. Also hire some good coaches for the girls programs something that was not addressed until it was too late.

Whenever they realize it takes a full time AD to concentrate on football year round not just when baseball is not in season. Kirbyville is a baseball first then whatever is next. The girls program is at an all time low also. Worst I’ve seen in 25 years. The band and tennis teams are the most consistent thing around here.

Yes injuries and grades affected us. Only have a couple quit. They have been bad the past couple of years but I think they are worse this year. 0-10 is very likely but realistically 1-9 is where they will finish

Be careful what you wish for. There is nobody in division 2 that will come close to beating them. Maybe even division 1

I come to believe they are a baseball school at this point. I know our AD does not coach baseball he focuses on football year round. They may want to look into this. Not saying HD is a powerhouse but he’s not sidetracked 1/2 the year with another sport.

McKinney ISD opened up its new 69.9 million dollar facility last night with cracks in the concrete to fix already. Very nice facility only seat 12,000 but room for expansion. 59 women’s stalls on each side of the stadium.

All in all Kirbyville has no chance against Newton this will be a massacre but I do respect them playing them and they got Lumberton the next week in Lumberton.

HD will beat Kountze this year

They did step up and play them unlike your Buna Cougars who said no thank you. Coach may need to schedule some salty dogs instead of all the deaf, dumb and blind.

I was there and Kirbyville did score once. Kountze did get the upper hand by my gosh this team is 70% sophomores and some big kids at that with some in the skilled positions with good speed. Their JV look d pretty salty also was told that was all freshman and 3-4 sophomores. I will confirm this they may struggle this year but watch out in about 2 years your looking at another 2008-2009 type team in my opinion. Kountze better get ready to get hit in the mouth by those Bobcats
