Rumor has it that the freshman, that was center of lots of talk earlier this year, is released to play for first time. I don’t know his position or who but I remember the talk. maybe he will be a difference Go Dogs, No injuries !!

I believe Nederland did not cross mid field until 3 minutes left in game and TC had all back ups to the back ups in. The play calling was laughable…but the execution was worse. Maybe 3 first downs until the last 4 minutes of the game for Nederland. TC had a punt with about 9 minutes, our punt team just turned and went back. The punter probably could have run for 30 yards but he held the ball for about 5 seconds, then punted. The ball slowly rolled to about half yard line and was downed. Backup QB was put in…safety. Dogs got ball back and finally crossed mid field with about 3 minutes left. QB had a very nice run for TD. Maybe coaches didn’t want this week’s opponent to have good film on em. Can’t think of another reason for the “game plan”…and just to tidy up the message of lack of awareness, injured player on sideline wearing slippers and pajama pants with uniform, throwing the football around looks poor when a staff is under the microscope…Go Dogs, Good luck to the kids, hope for a injury free game!

The kicks are being blocked. The defense isn’t being blocked…not on the kicker just really poor special teams

DL was blocked/pushed into the deep snapper…ref only saw the part where drop snapper was blown up…weak call but other personal fouls were more costly

Nederland just let a Nederland graduate and proven coach, who happens to be the only coach that got any sport into the playoffs this year, go to their crosstown rival. who is in charge of that ridiculous district and athletic department? Downward spiral

Apparently a “new coach” is there and they are running his plays. The bad look part is that Nederland was unable to secure a guy from Anahuac as the 1st OC. He had been to several practices. Some skill players were pulled from class to be told they have a “fair” chance to be the starter but the son “has an advantage of having his dads playbook”. Then a few days later, they are not going to Nederland. Then without any word, “some bald coach has been at practice and we are running his plays”…allegedly 😬 then The dogs drop out of 7 on 7 tourney…all rumors 😬

Allegedly the OC from last year found out that he wasn’t the OC this coming year when he saw the job posted…allegedly And he and the AD haven’t talked face to face since…allegedly

Did ANY sport (boys/girls) make the playoffs this year in Nederland? How did the “OC” from last year find out that he wasn’t getting that position and stipend next year? Kids dropping from the programs…I’m sure everything is the same as when Uncle Larry was at the wheel 😏

Work being done down there has been scarce for a long time. Then last 3 weeks, workers all over until late at night, weekends, holidays (I’m sure NISD paying double time for that). Still way behind. After game moved today, the workers...well they gone! whoever is putting the apartment complexes all over the area needs to be in charge, those things are being completed in no time 😂

Let’s see how the “coaching” at Nederland adjusts to their personnel, young inexperienced group. Its a bold strategy to not have a practice on Monday, and they only walk through on day before. The middle schools practiced Monday, just not the big boys that seem to want to and need some reps. At Nederland, silsbee wins by double digits. At Lamar, Silsbee also by double digits.

How many touches did #13 Thomas have since his first 2 for TDs and 140+yards?

At this point, it’s on the coach. That kid isn’t checking out of run plays to make poor throws. Coaching
