  1. Ned being exposed from weak early schedule. When is last time they didn’t make playoffs? It’s tough to contend with poor guard play and 1 scorer. The greatest coach to ever live can’t win when his team has a marked gap in talent to other teams. And a team full of “dribble dribble pass” or “dribble turn over” role players...the early record masked the true identity of this team apparently
  2. 1 player and a bunch of average players, not role players, just average players. They haven’t even got to Crosby yet
  3. I think everyone knew/knows how good BU is. I think the hard pill to swallow is admitting Nederland was overhyped. They graduated 9 kids or something last year, one playing at A&M (playing solid minutes) this year. They lost all of their speed and ball handlers. They have a player in Jackson and a streaky shooter in Gipson. And then a bunch of average players. Probably finish 3-4 place in district. BU is talented and will make a run at the title but glaring point from this game is Ned being exposed as average team. Nice wins over WB and an odd game for HJ, that’s about it.
  4. Kid should have more touches...never goes backwards and never brought down on first contact. Reminiscent of Alstott
  5. Still not sure who you are referring to from football...is there a kid that wasn’t in basketball last year that will be a key player this year from football?
  6. Not sure who is coming from football except maybe a small guard that played about 4 min/game last year.
  7. Kid got nice minutes, started second half...corner 3 looks smooth (hit 3 of em)
  8. Anyone know if Credeur will be throwing his name in the hat? I don’t think getting an experienced AD who has been multiple rounds deep in multiple seasons will not be an option at 75-80K.
  9. Oh I agree, those kids are incredible athletes. Cunningham just happens to match up very well with them. He is one of the best athletes I have seen in Nederland. Stud in Track, Football, and Baseball. His speed is about as good as it gets in HS football.
  10. The Q, the RB and even their H back #9 are all extremely dangerous. There is no arm tackling that big dude and when a linebacker actually gets in his way the kid dishes out pancakes with or without the ball. I feel like this could be a long night for the Indians. And I am a big Bost fan. I just cannot see him being able to outscore Nederland this season. Big Ned has a big physical Defense like most Nederland teams in the past. This year they happen to have some horses and physical players on Offense to go with it. good luck to both teams. Always an exciting fun game to attend.
  11. Yes sir. Without question. But he has a much better coaching staff to operate with.
  12. 18??? Dang I guess WOS needs to step up their slot T game.
  13. Nederland's D is legit. Bost is a very good passer and a decent runner. His receivers are suspect. I saw Bost's 1st 3 balls bounce off his receivers facemasks last friday. He is fast but goes down fairly easy. Port Neches cannot handle a running Q as dynamic as Nederlands and the RB is outstanding. Big Ned No problem 45-30
  14. H-F with 6 turnovers. Cannot win many games playing that way.
  15. Last year the Nederland QB lead district in passing yards and set Nederland all-time passing yards for a season but sure a decade since a good one...but Cunningham is an athlete and do some things
  16. HF Orangefield and HJ honestly. HF vs BC Friday. I think you might find out just fine BC will be in this district.
  17. Is this a serious comment or a joke? BC will not make the playoffs in this district, much less play for 2nd.
  18. H-F went a few rounds deep last year. Lost to Silsbee in the final second of the game to a blocked FG scoop and score. Beat Center by a few scores, beat EC by a few scores. I don’t understand what you are talking about with this upset nonsense. This will be a good game. I highly doubt it gets ugly either way.
