    What’s crashes back to earth? Get beat by Silsbee, Gilmer and Wos? They won’t lose another game till possibly state. I guess anything less than a state title is a crash? Maybe 2020 season but they on a mission this year you can count on it. They got 2 angels in heaven looking out for them now.

    I’ve never understood why they haven’t had lights. Their football field needs a makeover also. To be a 4a school I’ve seen 2a facilities better than HJ. It’s about time on those lights I remember those 4:30 games.

    As I watched this game I was truly disgusted with the music that was played during warmups. I only heard the “F” word a few dozen times. Yes EC is a jam up team and are very well coached. Kirbyville got down and it’s like the kids just quit. It could have been a 100 point beat down, thanks coach Sutherland for emptying your bench. As I was watching reactions of the kids on the bench it was like it was a party for a few of them laughing and giggling and dancing. I mean your getting run out of your own gym for Pete’s sake. I did make the comment to a couple of board members that they should just drop basketball and open the gym up on Tuesday and Fridays for a poker night. It’s a sad day to be a wildcat
