I didn’t say they had young starters plus a lot of those positions are platoons with young underclassman. Like I said Kirbyville will be just fine no need to worry. A lot of naysayers and haters want to see them fall. Cream always rises to the top

Kirbyville will be fine , just a down year all small schools go through this. We are a young team with some pretty good talent. Those of you barking when does baseball start I’m sure Kirbyville will make up for football in baseball. Baseball program is loaded with talent and very young so I see lots of deep playoff runs over the next 4 years and with a little luck and good fortune maybe even a state title. Get all your laughs and kicks in on the football team this year and probably next but after that the boot returns to our foot.

EC vs Kirbyville 1st round maybe somewhere 1/2 way. Lamar or the Butch. Heck I’d settle for a home and home flip.

They have been conditioning and lifting weights. For most of these kids they stay pretty well conditioned and lift weights in the summer I can vouch for that. If you want to get bigger , faster and stronger coaches can only push and do so much it’s up to the kids. Your talking 14-18 year olds. If they want to get better then they should take it amongst their selves to do so.

No outrage here just my opinion I could care less if you won 2-0 or 100-0. There are ways to prevent being blown out and yes defense is one of them. I remember beating Newton in 09 or 10 41-6 or 7 and the dogs were called off after the 1st quarter it could have been 100-6 or 7
