What is cowardly? Do we not have the right to chose who we play? Is there a written law that says you must play Newton every year?

I’m hearing we picked up the Allen Eagles they offered more money than Newton, with all the coaches and money tied up in coaching all they could offer was a couple coupons for Dairy Queen and some Artisian Springs coupons

I would be willing to bet that over 3/4 of the times they met is because they were in the same district

I think we give Buna a game and wouldn’t be a bit surprised if we beat them. Now Coldspring I know nothing about other than they should be a 4a Division 2 school and they usually have some athletic kids and some size. Not saying we can beat them but we give them a game. Folks in Kirbyville have grown accustomed to 8-2 or 7-3 every year. This is a rebuilding year for us and probably next year also. Like Joel Embiid for the Sixers “ trust the process” our time will come.

In all honesty I just hope Kirbyville can keep it respectable. Woodville is the lead dog in this race this year. I think the Wildcats will put up a good fight regardless of the outcome. Good luck to both teams.

New kids new coaches why any payback on kids that had nothing to do with it? I hope it's a good clean game with no injuries for either side. I don't see Woodville stooping that low , at least I hope not.

Yoe and Rockdale are both down this year. But something about Yoe when the playoffs start they are a whole new team.

I count lots of seniors that start on this team. 3 round you run in to either Yoe, Malakoff or Teague depending on where they finish and Woodville wins the district

I would say top 20 but 3a Div 1 is loaded with good teams.

I like Woodville and root for them when they are not playing my Wildcats. But brother 11 3 a is weak to say it nicely.

Teague, Malakoff, Whitney, Yoe just right off my head. That's just in region 3
