Same thing can be said about Newton year after year. The district is weak and they haven’t played anybody. They got a great 1 -2 punch in the backfield. There defense is fast and fly to the ball. They don’t beat their self. There is no substitution for SPEED and they are loaded with it.

They have a jam up team speed everywhere and love the way the OC calls plays and gets his playmakers the ball all over the field

The first 2 years in the same district Kirbyville did beat them but it’s hard to compete with a school with no boundaries. It happens here also. Bleak wood, trout creek and old Salem are all 3 closer to kirbyville but yet in Newton school district.

Game went well the first 2 drives then sto hell and a hand basket after that. Defense played their buts off all night. Our play calling is how can I say this nice piss poor. We cannot continue to play daddy ball the whole game. Daddy ball tonight cost us a blown coverage for a TD and 3 lost fumbles on good drives. We get EC next week then Anahuac home and Buna away. Unless we change something up we are about as predictable as a team can be offensively and it won’t take long for EC, Anahuac and Buna to realize it.

I’ve watched both teams and Evadale by far is the worse of the two.
