Ok the 7th grade lost by 4 and the 8th grade lost by 3 and and shouldnt have lost that game so stomping them they did not do they were both good games and if you were not there how would you know.

I hope you can just in case i cant make it to the game myself but I sure as heck am going to try to cause I havent missed a Kountze EC game in 2 years and dont plan on missing this one either but if I cant I cant cause of work and all. It will be another hum dinger in my eyes so if I cant make it hope to catch it on your broadcast. Also what do you think of the upcoming Kountze DV game I think we win big but I hear DV is playing very well.

no we beat warren in warren they have not played in Kountze. But since my last post they both have lost one game both losing a very close and very good game to St. Annes but both rebounded to beat hardin. they both start back this week after a long lay off for the Christmas holidays so hopefully they both come back ready to play. 4-1 not to bad.

Sorry to all you Dv fans but K town just rebounded from their loss to hardin and we are ready to take this game. The press is coming and hope your ready for the heat. I see the Freshman Mcdaniel having a big game and roman walker has another good game like against EC we win big buy 10 at least. Will be close for a bit but we pull away. ;D

I dont know this Bland kid except for what ive read but ive watched Bray play the last few years and If he can keep his head right and stay out of foul trouble then in my opinion is he will handle Bland and have a big game. He was in foul trouble against EC and played sparingly until the 4th Quarter but had several key rebounds and a monster dunk over 2 EC players that brought the house down. I have seen some dunks in my years of watching Kountze basketball but that dunk was amazing and turned the momentum back in Kountzes favor for the end of the game. He handles this game better and shuts down Bland. But its the rest of the Lions u better worry about.

Sorry to upset you wasnt trying to make anyone mad but sitting in the stands it just seemed like they missed a whole bunch more and buy the way thanks for doing the game. This game was so intence and the last minute and a half or so it seemed to take forever and seemed like we couldnt make em either. Also what was with the refs they tried sending TT to the line 3 different times when he wasnt even the one being fouled and one time he got the 2 free throws and was no were near the foul at the other end of the court. The refs in my opinion were horrible this night both ways. Well keep up the good work and thanks for the stats guess you put me in my place. And sorry again for rubbing you the wrong way.

Im replying to a couple of responses about if EC hits their freetrows they win heck if Kountze hits their freethrows also they would have won even bigger. I was there at the game and Kountze missed i believe in the last minute or two probably 8 out of 10 free throws. Roman Walker made 2 in a row but I dont think we made another one the rest of the game. I know we missed out last 6 straight with under a minute were we could have put the game away for good. Neither team shot the ball well from the freethrow line. The game was everything I new it would be and Jan 29th will be no different. I heard that in the Hardin loss we had the same problem down the stretch shooting freethrows that helped us not win that game and freethrows almost cost this game. We are a very young team and I hope they start shooting freethrows better or they could be in trouble down the stretch. Great game buy both teams.

Kountze 8th grade wins over Buna 71-31 to stay undefeated on the the season 3-0. They still havent lost a game in 7th or 8th grade. Kountze 7th grade wins over buna also not sure of the score but they are also undefeated on the season. The future is still looking good in Ktown. 8)

I havent heard anything on Kountze at the Fort Bagg Tourn. can anyone let me know the results of the games they played.

Ill start this out and say GREAT JOB LIONS ON A WONDERFUL EXCITING SEASON. You never gave up no matter what. Lionheart you were missed and hated to see that happen to U but you were a great insperation and leader for your team even with your injury. I would have loved to see you play the rest of the year. Now dont let all this talk get you your a great kid and good luck in the rest of your recovery. And as for the PA announcer it was not the announcement that was made it was the way it was made. The other scores were made plainly but when it came to the EC score it was made with a little more louder and extra shout to it. Thats ok we still took care of business and won the game. Yes no playoffs this year but what a great season and get ready cause this is just a beginning for KOUNTZE football. NEXT YEAR PEOPLE BETTER NOT SLEEP ON THE LIONS WE WILL BE BACK.

Kountze 8th grade ends junior high on high note. Kountze 36 Deweyville 6 Great job boys just keep yourselfs together and the sky is the limit. The varsity started a new tradition this year now lets keep it up. one loss in 7th grade 2 losses and a tie in 8th grade. Good luck in high school boys I Look forward to seeing you in high school.

Kountze 8th grade 28 EC 8th grade 6 We played another good game still only losing to Anauac one more to go I cant wait to watch these boys next year in high school. ;D

Everyone talks about Kountze reloading we have plenty of talent going. Last year our 7th and 8th graders were undefeated yes it was junior high but they had probably 3 or more 8th graders that could have played varsity for us last year. 2 of them will probably be on varsity this year. Then during the summer our Little dribblers Senior team were the National Champs so we will be fine for years to come. They will win district this year again and Warren will not beat them no way. We are still good and will make a deep run in the playoffs. Go Ktown all the way again.

OK as far as the Kountze D being better than buna we were the first and i believe only team to hold them under 30 points this year and If not for our mental mistakes and not holding onto the ball without contact we would have beat Buna and not lost to Buna. Buna has a good team but take away us fumbling and not their dfense forcing the fumble we held them down. Hardin will find out just how good we are this week WE WILL PREVAIL. KEEP IT UP BOYS WE HAVE YOUR BACK.

Well I havent seen EC but have been pretty impressed by them. With Buna my hats off to them on a good season. But in my opinion if Kountze had not shot their selves in the foot by fumbling without contact. Buna would have lost to Kountze but that said it didnt happen. Kountze to me is not getting any credit at all in the District and they deserve more than they get. They have a very talented team as well. Now as far as this game I see EC winning a good one cause Tramain is just too much to handle both passing and running. Good luck to both teams in the contest. GO LIONS

Ill say this much they do have 3 or 4 very impressive running backs 2 of the boys were pretty fast. The one running back was big and fast. We played them earlier this year that is Kountze we did not have a very good game but to their credit they walked us up and down the field. #8 was all over the field that kid to me could have played on their varsity squad he has a bright future if he stays with it. and as long as he plays well see him and be ready cause seems like we had no answer for him. The highlight of the game though was to start the 3rd quarter Anauac started with a hand of to a handicap kid and let him run for a touchdown. That was pretty sweet. Yes the West Hardin team beat Kountze but they did not beat the Kountze 8th grade they beat the 7th grade and they played mostly 8th graders and still barley beat them. Kountze 8th grade played the Hardin 8th grade and won big and watching West Hardins 8th grade they would not have beat our 8th grade no way no how. Sorry to burst your bubble but you beat the Kountze 7th grade not the Kountze 8th grade. This years group is pretty good too but different things have set them back here lately but they will be just fine Kountze football is turning the corner you mark my word.
