LOL. I have heard that many times before as well.

I bet you could count on ONE hand how many players leave LCM for WOS. It's usually the other way around and they don't move out there either. It has baffled me for years how they are able to stay in school and play out there against UIL rules. no one enforces it. But let a top-notch player move in from say, West Brook, (just for example) and LCM will be the first to try to investigate where the player lives, who he lives with, etc.

I can't remember which game it was, but it was an away game this year. The officials did not let WOS go to the middle of the field like they normally do. Official was standing in the middle and waved the players back toward the sideline. Since we are talking about disrespect....LaMarque always runs past the visitors sideline and then around the field and then out to the middle ---it is an OBVIOUS arrogance, imo.

I heard Cleveland is the first round for the Mustangs. A coach from WOS got in touch with Coach Tullos from Cleveland about playing at Deer Park. I forgot to ask which date, though.

I'm thinking that I heard WOS turned in 700 something. I couldn't believe it!

There we go with the money to BC again....Rita destroyed our pressbox yet we didn't have enough money to put in an elevator, but BC does? Hmmmmm, something's wrong with this picture somewhere....

IF any of the schools merged....name the new school, mascot, and colors. Someone suggested Orange High School for LCM & WOS. It would be hard not to root for the Mustangs anymore....and to see Blue and Silver. We could be the Hurricanes and be Orange and Green like Miami.

I don't think LCM is having financial probs any longer. With all of the gas wells in the community, their tax base is pretty good now. The only reason the schools would merge, IMO, would be because WOS keeps losing enrollment. (And WOS is going broke because they are giving it all away to BC!)
