I went out to middleton yesterday... Walked in right before the intercostal bridge.... Didnt see many ducks... Ended up with 3 spoonys.... I do not reccomend that walk... lol

Yea and if yall find mine too let me know.... It flew out about 3 weeks ago

[/quote] Yea we were limited by 8:15.... We could have sat there and shot a ten man limit by 11:00..... We went to goose hunting after we got our ducks and the gadwall were just pileing into our spread......

Yea we have killed quite a few Gadwall and Mottled ducks... A few Spoonys.. a couple pintail... 1 hooded merganzer.... lol but yes alot of teall too... lol opening day we had 30 blue wings and 6 spoonys in 45 minutes... lol 2 banded mottled duck killed off the property so far... thats always a plus

Its been the same on our property..... Had a few more good hunt after opening weekend... This split was very well need and the timing was perfect with this front pushing more birds down

I help a guide do some hunts out of Nome... We have just now started see geese on the property... I would imagine if there is gees on our property then they would be there or atleast flying over... Ill be In that area in the next few days... Ill try to get back with ya on that

Who is hunting and where????? I've done my share of scouting and the birds seem to be here... I will be hunt Anauach East Unit saturday..... Should be a good year for the East Unit, due to no one being able to hunt it last year....Just a reminder no Mottled Ducks until Nov. 5

I would love to help out..... Yea that toury last year was fun..... Just need to get more people involved.... Let me know what i can do

You are correct but I am a slow learner and it took about 15 years to figure that one out. So now I know. Not to mention the mosquitos. And after all that, who really wants a mess of ducks anyhow? Easy on us duck hunters now..... I love to deer hunt and always have... Ill get my deer with my bow but as soon as opening weekend comes, ill be in the marsh... Wont see the woods for the rest of the season..... well maybe during the split but thats if im not scouting for the birds...... Plus everytime i throw on that camo to go deer hunting my dog seems to not like me very much when i get home......

Its about time to go ahead and start trying to get another tourny together... We need more people to get involved... We need to try to plan it on a weekend when nobody else is having a tourny...

Bass tournaments on Neches River starting March 15th.$30.00 a boat for stringer $10.00 per boat for big bass.0-10 boats one place paid 11-20 boats two places paid 21-or more three places paid . Will launch at colliers ferry at pine street park. Tournament starts at 6:00am - 4:00 pm. Will hold one tournament a month and will have schedule put together before March tournament. No alchol allowed.Hope to see you there.

Water Dog is the best book to read by far....... I have had two labs and have went by the book and they have been great duck dogs.... I would also recommend the Water Dog DVD...... Good Luck

Anybody know where the geese are at??? I Didnt see very many during duck season.

Everybody did pretty well.... Roby pitched two innings and faced 6 guys and had 5 strikeouts... Smith Pitched two and was impressive..... Once Rhodes found his groove he did good..... Will pitched one and shut em down.....Not sure on hitting wise... Its kinda hard to keep up with it when everybody had like 7 or 8 atbats
