  1. It is Mid County madness, everything can be thrown out the window lol, I can see a great game for the record books this year. Ned is much improved under their new coach. I didn't think they would beat Lake Creek, but they pulled it off with a late big run. I'm thinking this game is over by 930 pm both teams running the ball eating up clock. Turnovers will be crucial! I see everyone comparing this year's team to last year's team, totally different. Our special teams scare the hell out of me lol, our secondary has no speed and i don't see the players flying to the ball. But what i do see is we can run the ball eat up clock and pass the ball when needed. What we are lacking is stopping the fake punts on 4th down and onside kicks. We are still resilient enough to make up for our mistakes, but against good teams we may not be so lucky. I am excited for Friday night to get here. I am hoping both teams come thru with no injuries. It is nice to see both teams undefeated in district, since the UIL decided to screw things up yet once again, not liking these two-hour drives for a district game. I think the changes on defense that the coaches made have improved our defense. I am curious to see the how the play calling goes. Will there be a few trick plays we shall see lol. Still think The Indians come out on top! Scalpem !!!
  2. listened to the pod cast I got that impression that he thinks we are a pushover .
  3. Better to get them over with and then start setting the dinner table. Lake Creek is PNGs only concern right now. They are on the clock and its ticking. That coach is underestimating us, he should be ready for a war lol! I can hear the Indiannettes now " Blood, Blood, Blood makes the grass grow"
  4. just now seeing this, lol i told you it was gonna be ugly lol
  5. one game at a time, just want to get a win without any injuries, hopefully the Defense pulls out a shutout, I'm all about the goose eggs, that always allude us. lol
  6. Nederland gonna hang 40 plus on the Ltrain
  7. Texas City gonna get the dub on this one, i like Texas City by 14 or better.
  8. well looks like rain may ruin this game. sure wish they could have played tonight. sigh, hope it holds off.
  9. I'm pretty sure Nederland will be a lot better next year. They have some talent no doubt, but coaching is killing them. I think thew will be much improved as they have shown improvement this year. We shall see how they do tomorrow night against Lake Creek. Would love to see the dogs upset this team. if it rains like they say anything is possible. Might just come down to who has the better running game.
  10. the sophomore qb will be something special, he has all the tools to be very solid. You are right, graduating the two wrs last year was a blow for sure. It's time to have the younger kids step up and take over, although #28 has been playing on both sides of the ball and is making a name for himself. Richards could be that homerun threat at wr granted they pull him off the defensive side of the ball. This coach seems to think that running the ball every down is going to work. Granted they have had some success with it, i still think you need to throw the ball to open up the run. Losing Adams for the year is about the worst news we could have received, when he went down with that injury, it was probably the weirdest thing i have seen as for an injury, he went down like instantly with no contact, never heard of the surgery he had but i hope he has a speedy recovery. This team has to find their own identity, they are nowhere near the caliber of last year's team and that is ok. Win or lose they are still going to give it their all. It will be interesting to see who steps up on offense and defense.
  11. NO i havent seen yalls qb play, but im sure yalls defense is legit. they embarrassed us last year. i knew we had a loaded team last year and had me questioning everything i thought i knew about football after that whoopin. but the coaches got them turned around and all of a sudden we had a pretty good defense.
  12. Only if they sell them in your concessions stand lol. Since the shalacking from yall gave us last year and the first fort bend marshall loss, i really didnt have to bring out my wonderful personality the rest of the year lol. its like a breath of fresh air actually having a defense now..
  13. just to let you know, we lost our starting running back early in the season he was a beast. but the lil running back you saw tearing up defenses all thru the playoffs wasn't even the starter. Like you said though you cant say what woulda shoulda coulda happened with them LH not having their starting rbs. If we would have had Tommy there isn't any telling what woulda shoulda coulda could have happened. regardless it's in the past. that season is over. Now it is time for the coaching staff and new starters and second teamers that are getting their chance to shine. I don't put much stock into rankings, losing 37 seniors I don't think Png should be ranked even close to the top 10 but that's me. But now that we have a coaching staff that has a real defensive coordinator and a proven background, I like our chances against any team in our district and once playoffs start anything can happen as you saw last year. but then again maybe we don't make the playoffs but doubt that seriously.
  14. i have the umost respect for the Mustangs. always have. They always come to show out no matter who they are playing. We got them at the Reservation this year should be a dang good game. Just like last year we have to play one game at a time and execute. Cant wait to see how both teams look moving forward from today.
